TJ Ellis

Team’s 8-4 leading the division. Everything they want is in front of them. Let’s go!

    BenTramer

And this is where the Cowboys historically collapse.

    JJ

    @BenTramer It’s 2021.

    TJ Ellis

@BenTramer Since Dak has been here that is not true. They either collapse earlier or in the playoffs, but they don’t typically collapse at this point.

James Haw

Lets see what we do FULL STRENGTH this week against WFT. I still believe we dangerous

JJ

Regarding Dak it could be both him and the receivers. Regardless the offense has 5 games to get it right or else it’s one and done in the playoffs.

    JJ

    @MyTardisGosWhosh I’m not talking, I’m typing.

Mandel Jackson

Was it the WR in overtime against the Raiders? That looked like a bad throw to me.

Glenn John

Nope. Sorry Derek, Dak needs to run more to threaten the defense. It works for his own good.

blackbelt721

If I pay my Qb like an elite QB then I expect him to play like an elite QB( see Aaron Rodgers) He should elevate the play of everyone around him, not have to have everything perfect before he can perform!

    JJ

How many Aaron Rodgers have played in the league ever? I’ll answer that for you, a very small handful. Dak is a very good QB who can lead his team to a championship. Doesn’t mean he will because it’s hard to win one, your boy Rodgers only has one Lombardi, but he’s certainly talented enough to win one.

    JJ

    @LeAnthony Dodson That’s subjective.

    JJ

@Robert Low Most fans suck at QB evaluating. This is the same fanbase that booed Aikman at the end of his career.

    JJ

All QBs need talent around them to be successful.

    Jerome Golden

    @Six 47 well put 👏

Reggie Hart

We have to understand there was some issues with playing 3 games in like 12 days. We will be better! Lets go!!

Smiles Reed

Yes! That first caller was head on! Dak needs to use his legs a little more and then keep the run game going to open up the pass game we can’t keep Dak bottled up so much let him extend plays when he has the option to

Charles Harris

Dak is learning how to be a QB that isn’t a threat to take off running anymore.

    JJ

Yes he’s no longer that “reckless” QB he was before the big injury. I think he can still use his legs in certain situations like around the goal line.

    Peter Hunt

I don’t know guys. Dak is too physically gifted, and too young, to not be willing to run for a critical 3rd down, or two, in a big game.

    Neo Huerta

If Dak never runs with the ball again that will be smart.

Peter Hunt

Watch Jeff Cavanaugh’s show from earlier today. It’s not the receivers. It’s the poor pass blocking from this mediocre O-Line. Dak is anticipating a pass rush on every pass play, and he’s pushing the timing and letting it go a half tick early, and that is so much more impactful than you would think.

    JJ

    Jeff knows his stuff.

Dustan Peterson

It’s pretty bad when you’re in December and still haven’t gotten you’re Oline figured out.

ian puckerin

The buffalo bills need to build a stadium that mitigates the elements and this game is an example of that.

Six 47

Jerry wasn’t saying they have the same talent level. He was just saying they will both perform to the best of their ability weather they start or come off the bench

J Clifton

Smith, Collins, Tyler, Martin, Steel. That’s ur best line up

Ugh !
Jerry NEVER threw any receiver under the bus at all
How some hosts feel we don’t watch these interviews for ourselves is far beyond me !
Helman in this instance

I’ve listened to that complete interview where Jerry addressed Dak not looking sharp to 103.5 The Fan
As recently as just moments ago as a matter of fact
The way that Jerry started that answer (“Well not that it’s all on Dark **paraphrased**) and especially the (” …now that’s 1 part of it.” ) clearly indicates that that (receiver errors etc) was only part of the possible reasons for him seeming to be off
And in totality…
On other interviews he’s addressed that same Dak struggling question with “Well, its several things that factor in of course… OLine issues that affect Dak and not giving receivers time in certain routes, continuity with different receivers, drive ending drops, penalties and no doubt Dak not making the best to even bad throws among other things

jeremy x

I’d be willing to wager my life that neither Cedrick Wilson nor Noah Brown has had WR1 reps no more than 5% to 10% in practice
Perhaps Wilson has had 15% at WR1 in Gallups absence
And yes
That’s in the lab but not thoroughly tested like Coop, CeeDee and MG13 at WR1 practice reps all day everyday

And again
Nick Eatman here carried on as though David Helman represented Jerry Jones’ interview adequately
I’ve yet to hear ANYONE exclude Dak from not playing his best but poorly of late…
Including Mr Prescott himself
Listen
I’ve seen post-game interviews where Dak said he needed to throw a more catchable ball…
While the receiver admitted to being at fault on the exact same play
Key example
MG13 on the Detroit win where he turned completely around on Slay to catch a back-shoulder-fade
He’d turned in and had to contort his body for that STILL amazing highlight reel
He said immediately after the game pn the sidelines
“I messed up by turning in and once I realized that was a designed back shoulder pass called in the huddle I had to make up for my mistake…luckily I caught it !”
Commentators ignorantly ripped Dak and praised Gallup live on air of course
So did most beat writers and Dallas reporters on content the following days

Even Dak post game took the blame not knowing MG13 had already explained on the field post game 😂
This means just bc Dak accepts blame means he’s to blame or be blamed alone etc
Now Eatman admits he still blames Dak on that missed CeeDee throw likely a TD had it been caught…
But in the same breath says “There’s really no way for me/us to know etc”
😳laughable
But proves my points
Simply stick to the facts for crying out loud fellas
Just bc QB1 is not playing consistently enough nor up to his ability doesn’t mean every seemingly bad throw is a bad throw

Nick still owes me in regards to him signing his book for me. I met him and Derrick in London in 2014 and then I met David his first year at Oxnard. At that point in Oxnard, it was my third year going there and I felt like telling David to keep up his good work, even though he was still relatively new to the show, it just seemed to me then, that he would turn out to be a good analyst. One last thing, all of the Cowboys radio hosts that I have met were friendly and responsive to all of my questions, and as I fan, I appreciated that!

Monarchski

Nigel that last caller was spot on. I’ve thought many times over the years that our O-line has never been as good since Callahan left.

Whip Tech

You want to give certain looks to certain teams at certain times, while getting the reps/rhythm needed to be balanced. When and if you get to the tournament, you have to give fresh looks with the same balance. With good health, a little luck, this team should be poised for a deep run.

Football Philosopher

Zeke was open, Dak missed him, and marshon lattimore was the one covering him… I couldn’t believe Dak threw that ball… and actually missed him🤦🏾‍♂️
