IRVING, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys will have wide receiver Miles Austin in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins.

Austin missed the last two games because of a hamstring strain suffered in the third quarter of the Sept. 22 win against the St. Louis Rams.

“I’m playing in the game,” Austin said. “I feel fine.”

Rookie Terrance Williams caught 11 passes for 222 yards and a touchdown in Austin’s absence. Cole Beasley caught seven passes for 63 yards and a touchdown playing in Austin’s slot role.

The Cowboys do not anticipate limiting Austin’s snaps against the Redskins.

“If he’s good to go, he’s good to go, there’s no question about that,” coach Jason Garrett said. “But having said that we want to make sure we handle that stuff the right way. A lot of that stuff is up to him and preparing the right way.”

Austin has 15 catches for 125 yards in three games this season.

“I’m not in control of the reps,” Austin said. “I’m going to go out and go every time I get the chance.”

Austin has had trouble the past two seasons with hamstring injuries. He did not miss a game last season, but Garrett has said there were only a handful of times he saw Austin at full strength in 2012.

“It’s a hard deal not being out there,” said Austin, who missed six games because of injuries to both hamstrings in 2011. “And it definitely feels good to be practicing again and being able to run again.”
