Jaycee has a higher ceiling, Patrick has a higher floor and is such a fundamentally sound player. you know he’ll be good for years. If jaycee is developed correctly he could be elite
Agreed, Now to me the floors between the two is closer than the ceilings, so at that point take the ceiling cause Horns floor is 2nd best at this point
i agree and tbh i feel like both are gonna have a lot of success. horn has the upside to become a lockdown cb like jalen ramsey with that dawg mentality and often trash talking to get to the wrs head, while surtain i look at him as a less agressive marlon humphrey, you know cuz marlon is always ripping fumbles and doing hard tackles. but i feel like both are gonna be future star corners
@diegodayzz __ the concern for me is that Jaycee Horn looks bad when he play in zone defense like Cover 3 that’s what Dan Quinn uses in his playbook, that’s why I wish the Cowboys select Surtain II, but if Horn is the pick selected, I would’t be so worried until the season starts and see if he can correct that style of play, because it’s difficult for some CB change from one scheme to another, specially when he had been playing man to man coverage all of his carreer….
@Ezequiel Martínez yeah for sure, i’d rather have surtain because of the scheme fit and also i feel like its a safer pick, and i’d love if he reunites with diggs in the secondary. but hey if we get horn imma be super excited aswell, the thing is any dbs practicing against our wideouts are only gonna get better lol

The Cowboys got a great problem at 10. You potentially can get 1 of the 2 top corners, or they can possibly land a future all pro tackle.
They could also land a potential all pro corner, and the difference between collins/Smith and whoever their corners are now is huge

And Jaycee horn can’t get better at zone or the run game? He was the guy at South Carolina, followed the other teams best player everywhere on the field and did a great job. Take horn and reap the benefits of having tenacity and a non stop shutdown guy.
