I just hope we don’t draft a DE….. we have Idenigbo who was a backup and still had 8 sacks.

    Johnny Ledford

And Zimmer always said you never have enough defensive ends or cornerbacks

    Anthony Johnson

I like Odenigbo but if the bpa is an end, I say take him. Plenty of reps to go around.

    Gary Oak

Odenigbo came in the same way Griffen and Hunter did.

    Os A

He had 8 Sacks because he came off the bench fresh on passing downs. Can he produce while taking the majority of snaps at DE?

    Gary Oak

Os A lol, that has nothing to do with it. By that logic, sign a few more DEs and cycle them every few downs, you’ll be getting 30 sacks a game. 🤣

Greg Hakes

You’re not going to find an elite WR. on day 2 or day 3.

    Greg Hakes

@Steven Smith We see nothing but stupidity in you’re comments so don’t be naive Dumb Dumb.

    Gary Oak

The Vikings don’t need a receiver.

And you don’t know that. Don’t be stupid. Some picks you hit big, some picks are busts. Most picks are busts.

    Gary Oak

Greg Hakes dude you don’t even know what Thielen’s name is. We have good enough receivers on the roster already. We also have Rudolph and Smith. We have Cook and Mattison. The Vikings are LOADED with offensive talent. They need help on the line. We have so many options we don’t even need to have more than one wr on the field.

    Greg Hakes

@Gary Oak Dude, Seriously Dude, Dude i think i know who Thieland is Dude. We need an Elite WR. to replace Diggs. And we need an offensive linemen and a couple of defensive players.

    Greg Hakes

@Gary Oak Vikings definitely need an Elite WR. to replace Diggs. Don’t be Stupid.

Darren Smith

Loved the analysis except for calling AJ Epenesa’s combine numbers “subjective.” Combine performance is the most objective measurement that NFL GMs get on a player. On-field stats can be subjective based on the competition, but combine numbers are about as objective as it gets.

Joe Ansuini

Thank you!Love your work,always informative.

Pia Cat

All i want for xmas is offensive linemen help& Antoine Winfield jr

Sean Ogren

I criticized u about Epenensa, but after watching more of him I think u r correct about him

Johnny Ledford

We have a chance to get at less 4 starters if Trader Rick don’t try to do something cute stay put and take what players on your board Falls to ya there no need in moving up we have we 5 picks in,the first 3 rounds so are biggest needs are. CB wr ol dl. This is a great wide receiver class probably one of the top wide receiver classes in the past 10 years you can find a good play as deep as 5 round I would think I’m thinking 10 wide receivers will be pick in,the first. 3 rounds if not more so if the right guy isn’t there we can get one later I’m feeling the Vikings are going to draft 2 this year now cornerback this is are biggest need I think and we will use one of are 1 round picks on one I’m we will take 2. In this draft oline need some help as well this a pretty good tackle class but most of them are going be taking in the top 15 pick but again if we take the tackles this Falls to us then could be a good idea to pick one the guard class is not very good this year not very deep there like maybe 5 or 6 and less then that that’s athletic enough to run a Zone blocking scheme which Minnesota is running outside zone-blocking so I think we need 2 guards now the defensive line think we do have a good dline but we didn’t resign Emerson Griffin which I wanted him back in purple and with Bring Em Dom Capers in to give some new idea I’m think we may run a hybrid 3-4 defense or a 4-3 under defense the we may look for a fast big elephant backer which means a oversize outside linebackers tall range and athletic this is what Anthony Barr was in college so I’m thinking we are going use him more as rusher then just dropping back and trying to cover tight ends and running backs out of the backfield so my guess is CB OT WR then DE but with Trader Rick you never know may don’t something dumb like trade up in the top 10 give up both are first to take some offensive tackle which I would not be very happy with we need 4 starters not just some guy would really good potential if I mess up this draft Spelman and Zimmer won’t be in Minnesota next year oh one more think I pray us as a world work together to get pass this terrible Coronavirus stay home stay well and God bless skol vikings

Skoldier Soup

Drafting Trevon Diggs would be an incredibly bad idea. Unless we draft him and trade him for someone else IMMEDIATELY

    iz thefaithful

    Skoldier Soup lol right

    Gary Oak

I’d rather have some dude working the register at super America than anyone named Diggs.

Isis Sabra

I don’t agree with most of this videos assessment. Example the biggest need for vikings she said was CB. Disagree its LT/LG: Period! Therefore, they should address LT first then CB Second with 25th pick. Then addess LG in Day 2. They can find other DB’s in day 2. DE is a need and that can be addressed with their 2 3rd round picks.

Skin Fluit Hero

I don’t know anything compared to the people drafting but I feel like if our o line doesn’t get fixed it doesn’t matter who we draft. Kirk and dalvin need protection

    Brian Arnold

Actually probably one of the smartest comments on here

    iz thefaithful

Agreed my guess is Vikings think even if they move up slightly all the top tackles will be gone

Kurt Nagel

Absolutely not a DE on day one.

Kurt Nagel

I can see pulling the trigger on Mims or Jefferson in the first. Mims having a chance at being special and Jefferson the safest pick. With that said all the DBs at that point are around the same level and there is no need to panic pick one in the first. Personally I’d rather trade out of the first and grab Winfield early day two. Definitely don’t need an end in the first. DT or OL are far more of a need.

    Mark Jensen

Kurt Nagel Agreed, Jefferson is one of the safest WR’s but didn’t he play mostly out of the slot where Thielen tends to line up. Another yes to Mims.

GolfJulietBravo

I want them to select the best CB available at #22 – J.Reagor from TCU with the #25 pick (if he falls that far) and potentially move up if we need to in the 2nd round to nab Winfield Jr.

Drew Smith

Just go O-Line in the first round.

Logan DeGraff

I love Epenesa but I really hope we don’t get a DE early we have Ifeadi witch was an absolute monster. And we might resign Everson

iz thefaithful

PLEASE Minnesota DO NOT DRAFT A DE IN RD 1
but it’s the Vikings so it will absolutely happen😂🤦‍♂️

That being said draft for best talent available and not for need

Bradley Schneider

Pretty much have to take a CB and an OT in first round if they trade one of those two picks for an early 2nd round pick they might get a 4th rounder outta that deal, then you can perhaps take that 4th round pick and our own 4th round pick to move back up to the early second round to get a very good WR or you could stay with another very good CB or perhaps that edge rusher but the Vikings will trade one of these two picks,I really think new England wants a QB so pick 22 makes sense for a team moving up for that pick,I’m no mel kiper but you’ve got to use logic.plus we all know spielman likes to trade…

11NPG

Her slaughtering saying his last name hurt…

JR D

I’d still love to see Chase Claybpool in the second round for a WR. Maybe use some lower picks to get another pick in the second. This guy imo is SERIOUSLY underrated. He can do everything. Physically freaky a bit like DK Metcalf (not as fast) was BUT this guy is a much better receiver! Great hands. Big enough to bully ANY CB. Very capable and willing blocker in the run game. Big enough to crack back on LB’s and some DE’s. He’s gonna be a steal.

Gary Oak

Things the Vikings DON’T need: WR, DE, RB, QB, TE.

Things the Vikings DO need: left tackle, left guard, right guard, defensive tackle, two outside linebackers, at least three cornerbacks, two safeties.
