Compared to all the massive wr contracts this off-season, we basically got Sutton & Patrick both for the price of 1. Hell, less than the price of 1 actually.

It takes serious work for the WR’s to learn how to mesh well with the QB (most importantly) on the field first.
But it’s (equally valuable) off the field for a friendship and trust to develop. Because once that click, click happens; it’s offensive magic. I get the vibe that it’s already starting to happen. Let our FB, HB, T, G’s, Center, and TE Broncos get on the podium next. I want to hear the excitement from all of them and their mindest right now about the changes that are happening. It’s a “All Hands on Deck” situation to get that superbowl win!
Quite a difference compared to the snore bomb we’ve had the last several years. Good to sense the excitement in the players. Player buy in is huge, if not most important it’s at the top of priority for a team.

As a hawks fan it’s just exciting to see Russell’s strengths combined with the coaching philosophy. Seattle’s vibes is going back to the 2011 draft with a great defense and run game. Next season is going to be exciting to watch.
Kudos to him for doing such a good job of not belittling Teddy, Drew, or Vic while expressing excitement about the new guys. The WRs were not without blame for why the offense struggled last few seasons.
