Mindshew is going to look inspiring this season. He’s not taking this tank for a new QB deal lightly. He fighting back and teams on his side of course. To me I want to know how the guys in the office feel for the jags. Are they happy they got the dub? Or do they feel like they don’t want this to happen again. I just want to know if there’s a chance they’ll believe in Minshew or not. Also the running game was incredible to. Guess Fournette wasn’t a big loss, so far that is.
On the surface it may seem like a tank, but I don’t think they’re approaching the way they play like that. I think you’re going to see them play hard like they did yesterday

@Jesper Tay Exactly. Everybody who’s really been paying attention knows this. Those exact words pretty much came out of Shad’s mouth after last season. Results like these are always better when they prove the majority wrong who think they knew everything and constantly talk down on Jacksonville. More pie to come for those faces!
I would like to get a great RB next years draft and a solid middle linebacker from next years free agents maybe a new free safety as well minshew situation I’m still undecided on him unless he can pull off a 5-0 record ijs

I love how they set Gardner Minshew up for failure and he still found a way to win. Surround him with great players. He’s a good Quarterback.
The offense is the strong part of the team. He has help there. The defense is going to be the thing to watch.
He’s got a solid offense. If we could beef up the defense a bit this could be a serious team

Never scouted him. I’m incredibly impressed by his body movement–no wasted energy, always moving forward and slippery for his size. Really efficient. To me, a clear upgrade from Fournette.

@Juice_Box We weren’t tanking from the start. We were cleansing our locker room of negativity. Our owner let our GM and coach know after last season that it’s better results or suitcases.
The players are not gonna purposefully lose they dont give two rips about who the organization wants to get in the future. Most players are only on a team 1-2 years. They want to win now to prolong their careers

Funny thing is that I could actually see Minshew being the kind of guy drinking a beer on the sidelines when the defense is out there.
Much respect to Jacksonville. All the Predicitons I watched had jaguars losing and everyone’s been saying “tank for trevor” but jags came out and competed especially Minshew. Hat tip to you guys!
