@Jayhawks 21 I’d say a success this season (aside from the obvious SB victory, duh) would be about 11 wins and a playoff position. 10 wins is alright, but a little lackluster for what the roster carries.
No way. I do think Buffalo’s chip will give them the win. Who can blame them. Think first game Chiefs played the Colts… after,, well, you know.
Predict 12-6. Lets be realistic about the amount of new talent, and learning the system. 4 of those losses will be before Halloween.
@Chris M Doubtful. The Chiefs are about to play their best football yet. I’m a Bengals fan but watched college a lot and I can say I’m scared for my Bengals next year after watching the draft. If the Jets were a good team, I’d say they’d be scarier with their pickups, but KC was already threatening. now they’re scary

Yeah, I started looking at the teams & my eyes started watering.
I just read that it’s the toughest 1st half of a season in NFL history. I just wish the 1st 8 games would’ve come in the second half of the season, since the Chiefs have a revamped secondary & so many new receivers starting this year. That would at least give the guys some games to get familiar with the playbook & the way the other guys play.
It’s gonna be an interesting season, that’s for sure!

Colts and Raiders may sneak in wins as they are technically dark horses rn. Titans blew us away last year, but we’re coming off a Bye when we play, unlike last time where we had tough competition and ran a huge gauntlet through the first half, so I think we pull in a W. Chargers games will be so good, but I think our of all the AFC rivals, they are most likely to sweep us, but the games will be extraordinarily close, could go either way. Buccs are a tough game, but there is a need to win that one, and we have an O-line and receivers with hands, unlike last time. 49ers, Cards, and Hawks are nowhere near as good as people hype them to be this upcoming year. Rams…oh God…that rematch has been simmering for a good minute, and altho it can easily go either way, I believe Chiefs (and Mahomes) remember the results from last time. Bengals, well they are a weird match, but again, revenge. Bills are bloodthirsty tho, and could come in and murder us, but hey, it’s cool if you own us in the reg season, we’ll just take it back in the playoffs like we did last year, lol. The schedule is tough, and we may see a wearing down somewhere, maybe from weeks 10-14 where we have Chargers, Rams, Bengals and Broncos in a row (which is why I believe we’re set for an uphill battle in our first shot against Broncos, set for a loss). My list says 13-4, but that’s with wins against Rams, Buccs, and Bengals, all opponents who could take those games away. That is also being hopeful that the Colts haven’t found their synergy with Matt Ryan quite yet, and the Raiders not becoming powerhouses all of a sudden with Adams. Even the 49ers, who I see as inferior to their previous series against the chiefs, could seek revenge and take us down. The only safe games that I believe the Chiefs (within understandable terms) have in lock are Hawks, Jags, Texans, 1 game with Raiders, and maybe Cards. All the others are up to the imagination.
Our high is likely 15-2, we still have a massive ceiling.
Our low is possibly 8-9 or 7-10, just for the multitude of difficult opponents.
This is a “Prove It” season for the Chiefs. To see if we’re actually the new Dynasty, to see if Pat is truly the best QB of the modern era, for all the positional battles that are happening. I believe we can persevere and complete a giant season with a Double digit record and a victory lap of the Superbowl.
Chargers beating the Chiefs twice? I don’t think so lol. Once maybe. 0% chance they sweep the Chiefs. and I’m a Bengals fan.

@Sounds of Nature eh, Chargers have always played us tougher than usual opposition does. If you think at all that the Chiefs have gotten worse by any amount, then there is cause for concern over a Charger sweep, cuz in year’s past they have done the improbable against us.
Chiefs have grown far better they will change the offensive scheme after throwing some stuff out there the last two seasons. They will remain afc west Champs. Might lose one to the bolts maybe bucs that’s what I see. Saveit haters remember this 6 months from now.#1 seed afc
@Alka Vonstra, no way the Chargers beat the Chiefs twice. Everybody in this division will beat each other at least once. I’m pretty sure of that.
This is the one team in all my days watching NFL football where they have a legitimate chance to win every game, every season.
I would say the same about Brady and the Pats and Manning and the Colts and Ditka’s Bears in the 80’s

1969. That’s the year I started watching football & became a lifelong Chiefs fan. That is the toughest schedule that I have seen
This man is truly looking forward to grabbing some fantastic meals during the road trips. Big Red might be “arguably” the best active NFL coach, but I don’t think there’s any argument whatsoever that he’s got the best takes on fine dining throughout the NFL cities. Bar none.
