LETS GO STEELERS!!!
Mike Tomlin has to be top 5 at couch press

    King Dawg

    The best #1

    Ellie Gonzales

He looks out of shape to me…I don’t think he could bench press a heavy couch.

Do you really know how good it feels as a Steeler fan to say, “We got Mike Tomlin”?

    Jesse LeBlanc

Lol so we know the answer it takes a team to win or lose if Brady and the offense come out blazing and scored 30 second half points and the defense given op 14 the patriots lose ….but that didn’t happen they worked equally to get the win ….I notice when some teams lose you say the gave it away ….the last time a Steelers defense was as enept as has the Steelers been the last few playoffs games was when the Steelers were smocked in the playoffs by Miami with a young Marino…..out defense made the jaguars quarterback look like Dan Marino….that was less than stellar…..Steelers scored 42 points and lost …..if you think that’s defense…..lol some teams couldn’t score that much against air in sixty minutes…..you need to raise ur standards

    Jesse LeBlanc

You hear everything you need to with now the highest paid defense in the league and still looking for defensive players and not offensive lineman……lol how muck of a salary cap can you put in a defense…..now if they give up between 12 and 14 points a game it was a good investment unless they give up another 45 points in the post season and lose …..maybe they will blame the offense

    R M

@Jay Just think about how well that 2017 team could have been if they would start the games the same way they always came back to make it close. Ben and that offense did nothing and put the defense in bad positions. They overcame a 21 point deficit to make it a 3 point loss to Jacksonville.

    Jason Bright

    Absolutely

Jay

Not really a surprise to me. Go Steelers!

Gage Rushing

He had the biggest smile when he was asked about Kenny Pickett. Tomlin knows what he is doing…having kenny at 3 is gold for him. Make him earn it. Really hoping Pickett is starter at some point this season

    jw1

@Gage Rushing The reporter asked a ridiculous question about what he could learn from seeing Kenny play against a live defense. Who wouldn’t laugh at such a ridiculous question? Jesus Gage everyone wants to see Kenny succeed so you don’t have to be triggered so easily. I think you have a little too much Kenny love going on if you know what I mean so just because your eyes light up and your heart flutters when you hear his name doesn’t mean that’s the case with Coach T

    Walter Steele

So you are hoping for poor play?

    Atheos B. Sapien

@jw1 Ridiculous question? Asking a coach what he could learn about a young QB, who’s going against a live D, as opposed to the one in practice he’s been going against?
I don’t think you know what ridiculous means?

    Davyn Carulli

@Jay Tomlin is gonna play the best QB. I think the op was saying he’d improve enough to win the starting job.

Gene Smith

Tomlin, you are so cool.

sliderulerart

I love Coach T putting the f’ing media in their place! He is the one going to be making the final decision on who is #1 and so forth. Yet media already have it figured out! lol – these guys are a joke

Daniel greve

Coach’s make decisions but players must execute them…Mike T…imo #1… who cares what the rest of the league is doing …getting to the playoffs this year for sure..

Jesse Duke

Ya gotta love Tomlin, I never understood how people could Hate On this guy.

    Robert Tamburo

Most Tomlin critics do NOT HATE him at all. Telling the truth that his performance in this decade and last decade has been void of having a winning playoff record. This does NOT mean that those people require a superbowl win to be a “winning” season. It does mean that Steelers have been consistently humiliated in the playoffs since 2 decades ago. Ignoring this truth to instead tout a meaningless regular season record is as absurd as a tennis player who loses a match 6-0, 6-0, 4-6, 4-6, 4-6 sating he had won more games in the match (24) than the actual match winner who won the match with only 18 games. Number of regular season games won is irrelevant to the only goal of an NFL team which is to win in the playoffs.

Acknowledging the truth does not mean you think Tomlin is a bad coach and definitely has nothing to do with loving or hating a coach ….it simply means that you see and affirm the truth instead of parroting sports announcer talking heads who falsely conflate regular season record or records from 2 decades ago as important when the ONLY importance of regular season record is deciding whether or not a team enters the ONLY SEASON that MATTERS = POSTseason playoff tournament.

I personally love Tomlin for giving us fans more communication from the HC than any other HC ever and for being a solid Pittsburgh citizen and for having a strong sense of humor, articulation and good looks….but that doesn’t mean I buy into the deceptions the national sports announces spout about what defines “winning”. The only games that winning really matters are playoff games. Just one playoff game won would be enough for me to consider that the Steelers had a “winning season”.
But one’s blind defense of loving anything Mr. Tomlin does and to mischaracterize Steelers fans who tell the truth by falsely claiming “they hate Tomlin” is false BS.

    John Truxal

Coach t is good but terrible with situation football plays over the years…jesse james play vs pats for example…bill was working up scheme during the replay to…steelers just sat on sideline hoping not planning…that was a sb team but losing that game cost home field and was another wasted playoffs…

    Jesse LeBlanc

You can like a coach and still want him gone we had a guy that turned around a team much like this modern-day Browns team and helped them to win 4 superbowls in the span of six seasons…..and he had folks wanting him gone and this Tomlin guy has not been close to that …..have it on ur mind’s

Pwr 2b1

Not going to be “Blowing in the wind” comment classic MT. Definitely the MT style relàtive to wind at a presser.

I don’t agree with a lot of Coach T picks and love others. But we all know we are blessed to have him in the Steel City

Coach Tomlin Is A Winner Deal with It

Chris Moyers

I’m fired up about this team this year. Tomlin has that swagger like we’re gonna suprise some people. Sorry but I’m just gonna say it..”we’re going to the Superbowl this year!!”
