Not a Dallas fan, but interesting seeing Mc Carthy trying to mold Dak into a playoff ready QB, NFC is wide open since most “good ” playoffs bound teams have unproven playoff QBs.

It’s also great to see this growth in reps as we start a playoff run perfect timing

@Gary Boyd I blame dak more on that this game he had it backwards with that play when he ran out of bounds he should of said in bounds so the 2 min warning would kick in bc the next play he went down instead of throwing it away which lost us yards and hurt our chance of converting for a TD to put the game away

@Travis Holly Dak has proven to be good in the playoffs. The real question is will both sides of the ball show up. The cowboys can’t win with just one side ballin. Dan quinn is going to have to get the unit he had yesterday to play better. Along with moore finding ways to get the tight ends and wr core to alternate their positions confusing the defense more. Moore legitimately has weapons besides lamb gallup and brown. I understand though getting them in slowly but these next 2 games Hilton and washington need to be used alot more. Ceedee will see more doubles and someone else will need to get open gallup is still not full back himself maybe even use pollard more as a receiver.

@WiperHunter You are right it can’t be every game. This game showed he can do it. Though he really shouldn’t need to that defense will need to get momentum. Thursday needs to that game but tennessee will be in a heavy run offense mood. Willis is not a good passer nor do they have a core of wr’s like philly. The unit quinn has can get better especially with joseph getting put back on just special teams. He is not one to count on at this moment.

Sad part is they should of won against the jags for sure but Moore went with a passing play instead of a run and if we ran it jags would of used their last TO and they wouldn’t of been able to kick that FG last Sunday bc they use their last TO with 5 seconds left and they wouldn’t of been able to get to the line and spike in 5 seconds and with that packers game they should of kicked the FG instead of going for it on 4th & 6 in OT. Smh

I’m not sure it can be “fixed”. It is a defense that has struggled to be successful against the run, especially off tackle or edge runs, since week 1. And has since lost its 2 starting corners and playing without its leading tackler and starting LB. Fortunately, Daron Bland has aptly replaced Lewis. But the losses of Brown and LVE cannot be “fixed”. If the team has struggled against the run with its leading tackler in the game, there is simply no reason to expect that it can be “fixed” with the leading tackler sidelined. And there is no reason to expect DQ to “fix” the issue at the corner with Brown out for the season. The best we can hope for is that LVE gets healthy by the tournament and he and his agent are willing to risk him playing for an organization that declined his 5th-year option (for good reason in my opinion). As a free agent at the end of the year, getting hurt this year was THE worst thing that could have happened to him. He will have next to zero negotiation leverage in free agency if he is not 100% healthy. Given that reality, is it in HIS best interest to return this year?

If we regularly get 4 turnovers, we can give up a few big plays and I’m good with it. There isn’t a better team in the league than Philly right now and we beat them warts and all.
