I think we may see more play action mixed into what we’re doing but end of the season/playoffs if I were McVay. The narrative last season was he got figured out. So the straight drop back look might be the added tweak he’s working in not to be predictable all season long with PA

No Sean, it’s not just about turnovers. The team has been beaten in the trenches the past two games. Against the Titans, the offensive line got their butts kicked. Against the 49ers, it was the defensive line that got knocked around. That can’t continue.
Everybody knows that the Rams are going to Mainly Pass ! So, Their Defence is playing Pass ! We have got to Run at them Hard ! Punting it away is not a bad thing if you pin them deep and let that Defence make them Pay ! That’s what they did to Us !

Long time Rams fan; have been so excited the last few years for the team. McVay has been a blessing for sure but I have a couple questions. 1. How many times during quarters 1 – 3 have you run the ball back to back? I truly believe the defenses find it easier and easier to predict passing downs and pin their ears back. 2. Why don’t we play bump and run coverage on early downs and take away the quick pass? I see opponents running 10 play drives constantly against us and it seems to me it’s because they’re in 2nd and medium or 2nd and short a lot. We have the talent for bump and run (knock the receivers and play out of rhythm) coverage which might allow the pass rush to hit home more often. Need to mix it up more.

I’m so used to seeing D’Marco Farr without hair…… On the other note, the Rams need to do play action to make the defense fall for the run here and there and then use it to open the pass game here and there.

I respect coach for never throwing players under the bus. We’re all familiar with the looks Coach gave to JG16. He’s looked at MS9 much the same way the last 2 games. We’ve got to run the ball more. Way too much is being put on the passing game.

Since you can’t seem to figure it out, you can’t play your CBs 10 yards off and expect to stop 3rd and 4 against NFL QBs.
