We did gruden came in and put us in a much needed rebuild tbh but we didn’t kno we was tanking till like week 6

McDaniels is not an emotional coach, he is an analytical coach, Gruden would’ve been going off in the locker room … McDaniels pressers and speeches are really uninspired. I do not care if it produces wins tho. But watch the panthers locker room after beating the bucs… different scene
This guy comes from a winning culture where every year was superbowl or bust I don’t expect him to be hyped over this stuff we should b winning these games period

Lets not forget jacobs was injured alot the past 2 years and his performance was very underwhelming past 2 years too. People are being too quick to pay him.
He was hurt a lot because he got used all the time. And he was hurt more from getting hit behind the line all the time.
When our oline did bad last year he did bad, better line= better backs.
Listen to what jacobs said after the game = last 3 games he is getting to run to the line of scrimmage before getting hit… next thing ya know he sets record.
Did you not watch him last season? When the line blocked ok, he carried the team through all the amazing wins.
He runs and the defense has to load the box. That opens up the field for receivers to get open.
Stats are useful, if you understand why they got there.
Also- if you think White or one of the other RB is basically as good- look what happens even during this game when JJ is on the sideline and they run instead of him.
People seem to understand Adams moves messes people up but because TV announcers don’t talk about JJ’s jump cut that wrecks people- they don’t seem to understand.
@Hummer VS lets see him make it through most of the season healthy before we hand a running back a huge deal. Those deals backfire like 75 percent of the time.

Now thats how you run the football! Tears of joy😂😂😂! That pitchout lineman pull was epic! Them double lineman pull with a fullback block counter offtackle plays are horribly malicious to an opposing defense! Its like gash gash gash every time! Just make sure the guard seal out the linebacker so that the fullback can unleash on the secondary for 20+ yard runs. Might even use Bolden as a fullback to get to the secondary and block them out faster so that Jacobs or White zooms right by! Guarantee no more red zone woes ever! Way to go Coaches for the emaculate balance variations of run play calling!💪🏾🤝🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

If the Texans are a ‘good’ football team Josh then there is no such thing as a bad football team.
Ever hear the term “any given Sunday”?. The colts who have 3 wins might just be the worst overall worst team beat the chiefs a few weeks ago. Not just beat the chiefs they sorta dominated them.
The Texans have a #14 ranked defense. Their record doesn’t tell the type of team they are just like us. Maybe stop being so narrow minded and do some research.
I stay being critical about Josh McDaniels and im gonna continue to do it til he starts believing in his players. Yesterday he let Jacobs loose, and it paid off. Hopefully he continues to prioritize running the rock. We could easily be like the Giants. 6-1. Just imagine if we would’ve been feeding Jacobs. We would be undefeated right now AND have an easy upcoming schedule!
That said, I criticize McDaniels, but I feel happy for him when he wins. He seems like a great guy. You can see Devante congratulating him after the game yesterday. Players care about him. Unfortunately being a good guy doesn’t win games. Hopefully he builds off of the 4th quarter yesterday.

Agreed. I also remain wary and skeptical of McDaniels, namely because of his past and I just simply don’t like anything to do with Patriots coming over here. But I try to keep an open mind, but we still have a long ways to go, and we’ll have to go far before he convinces me otherwise. But a win is a win and I will try to enjoy for what it is at the present time.

Good win yesterday fellas, keep it up offense hopefully we can pull off a few more wins with this trash defense.
It was the defense that ended this game with that interception. But you might right with that criticism but I would add detail and suspect of the defense linebackers or utilizing different formation from 4-3 to 3-4 defense on certain situation whether it could be a pass or a short yards play. Yes linebackers needs help as our safeties are covering LB slack.
