Joseph Paz 17 I’m sorry but you have no concept of law enforcement. I did it for 33yrs and when a suspects adrenaline is running high it often takes more than two to control him especially if he’s on drugs. In situations like that where a person is armed or trying to arm himself you do what you have to do to go home to your family. Like it or not that how it is. Try being in law enforcements shoes. Everyone is always quick to criticize until they have to do it themselves. All this guy had to do was not resist and do what he was told. Besides having a knife he also had a felony warrant for his arrest. Didn’t know that I bet. They are not trained to aim for a leg. You stop the threat.
I usually stand by cops and see both sides of the spectrum, but they didn’t know about the knife until after the incident happened.
But he should have been tackled down and apprehended before hand, I can’t believe they let him just walk away.
