Well, we showed we can’t come back or maintain a lead. Were screwed if we don’t figure it out in a week or 2. Then the hole would be to big to climb out of.
Unreal … None of these coaches except McDaniels has taken responsibility… The DC played too soft on coverage then they were gassed because they were on the field so much… We keep switching lineman not talking injuries btw there’s no consistency DC is doing DC things as usual it’s only been 2 games I know but we haven’t been that good and it needs to change before we end up 0- 3 or worse

can coach graham adjust the defense when its not working. when he was hired he spoke about changing the defense weekly. both games we ran the damn 4-2-5 zone most of the game. 4 man rush all game no pressure. gus bradley 2.0

We should’ve sent more pressure at Kyler in crunch time. He had entirely too long in the pocket. We were only rushing four or three at sometimes. You have to send corners or lb’s to get him down. Don’t abandon the run game. Lastly, DJ Turner and TBilly did make our 53 right? How about using them on the field. Who’s our speed threat on the field as a receiver? Use our personnel!! NATION!

I agree. But our only pass rushers are Maxx Crosby and he was wore out . It’s why he couldn’t finish the tackle. Need to keep our defense fresh !
Don’t you wish that fans can ask questions at these press conferences instead of the reporters who ask worthless questions. Like coach Graham, why in the hell did you play so much deep zone in the second half, after you had success being aggressive in the first? Lombardi, why in the hell are you guys not pushing the ball down the field? Or running the ball since you guys kept like 5 RBs?

How about, “Do you think there is a balance between calling plays based on the defense versus calling plays that you do well?” And a follow up question, please, “Shouldn’t the defense respond to what the offense does, not the other way around d?”
I’ll be honest, I know what an audible is. It looks like every play is a read and audible or check down. Have the ball, run the ball, pass the ball, play football and set up a deep thread. That is Raiders football. You don’t say, “Just win, baby;” and I happens. Play the effing game! I’m too small, but I can’t stand this “soft” offensive play. Carr and run, let him run. Set him up to run if no open options. Go back to Carr like he did in college. Forget the “pocket” and play football. We got beat because they played the game. Too much chess, not enough play.

Every two years different coach and the same Qb. Derek carr must improve. He has no excuses, and must run the ball and use the tight ends. That is the old raiders way
Mark my words, the Titans know we will be expecting a strong running game so they will throw the ball just as much so prepare for the air attack also! As for our offense, like always it depends what Carr shows up! 💯
When you start the 2nd Half of any
Game, play it like you’re behind or better yet like the score is 0 to 0.

Why can’t the defense do more rotation to bring in fresh players to pick up the pace especially in the
2nd Half.
The problem is the philosophy here. You tackle an athlete with athletes. The fact that he didn’t send DB’s after him & dropped Max & Jones in coverage in the 2nd half was an epic failure. He also allowed his guys to get gassed. Do a rotation. It can’t be that hard.
Lombardi is a first-year OC, and it shows. He’s in over his head, and it’s only week two. All his career highlights come as an assistant coach with the Pats, and he started his career as a scout and front office executive with no college experience as a player. He’s a good ol’ boy hire by McDaniels. He was not hired as the right person for the job, just a guy who hung around long enough to get this gig. Al would NEVER have let a guy without OC experience be included in the OC position search. Mark Davis stinks as an NFL owner. The Raiders might be 1-4 by the bye week. This year will be brutal. They’ll watch someone else win the Super Bowl in their stadium next year. Josh McNuggets gonna be gone in his third year. Carr might be gone after this season. Adams will want out.
Shame on the entire coaching staff, Sickening that none of them could figure out what all of us were screaming at them at the games, I’ve been to the last 3 including Cincinnati, losing is fkn old.
