Well that last matchup with the Texans we had our secondary playing. Our starters fosho need some improvement but our starter defense really the only D we got. Our secondary needs work on as so does our 3rd string
can we have Amik Robertson play safety on 3rd down when Nate Hobbs comes back? I just wanna see how the defense plays with him there
It took him 3 years to be decent at slot. Can’t just throw him back at safety when we already have our 2 starters and Duron Harmon as the 3rd safety

I like this coaching staff, I love McDaniels scheme and all of the built-in option routes that makes each pass play so difficult to defend against, and I like all of the different ways that he is able to attack opposing defenses, the more that this Raiders Offense develops as a team in his system and truly knows exactly what they’re supposed to do and they’re all on the same page, executing their responsibilities and performing at a very high level, the more they will become impossible to stop. Especially in the red zone and with the game on the line!!!
The fact that Graham has had to make do with a lot of defenders missing time and while he’s installing a new system has made it difficult to find consistency. Yes, he’s made some errors as far as play calls and not making adjustments vs offensive adjustments, but to have only 1 D Lineman getting consistent pressure and having to blitz a lot in order to create pressure has been a difficult obstacle to overcome, that being said, he has rallied his defense to make the stops when the game was on the line and he needed to find a way to get the ball back to the Raiders Offense to have a chance to win all of the games that we had lost… that’s impressive!!! Still, you’ve gotta remember that he doesn’t have all of “his players” he has had to make do with players that aren’t exactly right for his system and the style of defense that he wants to run… both he and McDaniels have had to make do with what they have, by in large part, unfortunately, these growing pains have resulted in losses, but we’re trending in the right direction… still it’s on Zeigler to acquire a playmaker on Defense and either get Munford and Bars coached up and to quickly improve to become a more solid team and/or get a lot more productive play from the rest of the D LINE, LBs & DBs, in order to really make a run this season… we’re still going to have to make a couple of runs and win almost every game from here on out to really have a good chance to not only first just make the playoffs, but to also, run the table in postseason… they certainly have their work cut-out for them!!! Let’s hope that they find a way to get the job done phenomenally well!!!

As a student of the game Jeff, you’re on point on all accounts. A new system implemented by a new coaching staff does take time to know as well as understand. The team is buying into Josh McDaniel program and you can see the results from their level of play on both sides of the ball. Defensively, we’re a little bit late responding to the play and that’s going to happen when you’re being introduced to a whole new defensive system. Agreed, Coach Graham doesn’t have the right people in some areas to execute his system to perfection yet he is a great teacher and the players are thirsty/determined to embrace what he is saying. Proof is in their competitiveness (play)on the field. The Will to Prepare is Vital! Preparation breeds confidence, Confidence eliminates hesitation! We’re (Raiders)coming. Onward! Upward! Excelsior!

@Maximus Decimus Meridius Need the players up front, also when was the last time the Raiders had this many INTs and two of them for touchdowns in a season lol? They need more of a pass rush is what’s killing them in the secondary and Chandler Jones has been a overpaid bust. Max Crosby shouldn’t be the only one that can create pressure without blitzing.
