When this defense gets the right players for their scheme this defense will be a lot better. For instance a hard hitting box safety isn’t something this staff needs. It’s a sure tackling ballhawk on the backend is what they’re looking for. We also need a NT like Wilfork and a shutdown corner like Gilmore, Law and Rivas.
I think that’s why you’re seeing Trevon Moehrig is playing more Rover and SS than deep FS they need and want guys who can cover . Abram isn’t that. I see Abram only coming in on Big Nickel and Dime packages moving forward but they’re not liking what they see right now covering guys and open tackling.
Too bad Treyvon has been straight trash this year.
@RAIDER CASPER he’s actually been sticky in coverage idk what your watching. Plus he missed about 2 games . Kelce had 4 tubs bc our RZ defense is just not assignment sound rn but he had 25 yds
@Toon sticky? Lol his first 2 games he played he was Targeted 7 times and allowed 7 receptions, for 224 yards and a TD , thats an average of 32 yards per target. I’m watching Raiders games , if you are as well then you don’t understand the game of football. Sticky lmao thats hilarious.
@Toon but to he fair its not just Moehrig, overall as a whole the defense has not been good, Moehrig just stands out as trash.

We are pretty easy one coming up this weekend where playing against the Texans so that should be a walk in the park for us all i got to say about carr is tht he better be on his game because I forgot his name but one of his receivers is going to be out with the broken hand and hopefully Devante Adams isn’t going to get suspended for his little move last week of pushing the photographer down after the Kansas City game

Adams won’t be suspended this week but I wish he would be to get it over with, and its Nate Hobbs our CB that has a broken hand not a WR

This entire coaching staff is terrible.
I am 100% convinced that not playing starters in preseason hurt big time. First three reg. games were preseason for Carr & company. I will be surprised if the Raiders don’t go on a serious run winning the next six games. Very doable. Let’s go.

Lombardi generally says a whole bunch of nothing when he is behind the mic I’ve noticed… You can’t learn anything from him and he doesn’t give the nation any reasons to be pumped up for the upcoming game… Graham neither and that’s just the truth..
How come nobody asked pat graham how did Kelce not get doubled or 1 time was completely wide open in the RedZone? That was pathetic. 4 tds to 1 guy In the redzone.
