@Manny 198 No, all these complaining so-called Raiders fans are the Mahomes fans. If all you can do is moan and groan and think you could do it any better, well go play football yourself, OR just move to KC or whichever city has the winning team any given year.

@bryan c Wow, that’s about as cynical as it gets. We’re the fans who hold the franchise back? Ridiculous. Nothing positive to say huh? Sure, Raiders have lost a lot in recent years, as have most other teams, except for the few who happen to win that year. You have a Raiders team with much potential, the only team to beat the SP champs this year, Carr Waller Jacobs all showing they have the right stuff. But you have a team that is in a new home, new stadium and NO FANS in that stadium. And you expect a championship this very first year, and since you didn’t get it you just want to fire everybody? And replace them with who – yourself? Raiders pulled an 8-8 season in spite of everything, their losses were mostly very close and could have gone either way, and their final game was a classic. Yet still you’re hating. If you want to sniff better smelling farts then go to Kansas City Dorothy. Well guess what – everyone’s farts stink and every team has its winning seasons and losing seasons.

Gruden is good and has a good team and will only get better, and will win SB in five years and all the haters will be evicted from Raider Nation and go take a knee elsewhere. And if Homer Fan is your title for us old schoolers who are true to our roots and heritage then so be it, I’ll wear it as a badge of honor.

Been a fan since 2000

Fan since the Snake days – Raiders were America’s real team, they represented the every day American, not the uptight Cowboys). Football is not what it used to be, just not the same kind of legendary characters we had back then (Stabler, Mutszak, Alzado, Caspar, etc). But the game is essentially the same, and Raiders will always be the team that represents to me what the game is about, thus I will remain a fan forever. And I don’t pretend to know what they need to do and sit here and whine about things. I’m just here for tradition and heritage.

Since 1968. I’m proud I got to witness the Raiders in the glory days. When AL died so did the Raiders organization. The swagger, The mystique , The poise has all disappeared. RN4L

@East Bay Raider Davis, Madden and Flores are true legends. And legends can never be replaced. I do think the Raiders have the potential to get some aspect of that back – not all of it because our whole world is different now, with all the political correctness and thin skinned cry babies etc. But Vegas itself might hold the answer. Al Davis reminds me of one of those legendary Vegas casino moguls, he had the same entrepreneurial spirit and attitude, tough but classy and a believer in the individual free spirit. Vegas after all is a city built by outlaws and renegades from other places. Al loved Vegas and spent a lot of time there – some have speculated that he had wanted to move there for years. Not sure about that, but again, for me the way I keep my interest and excitement about today’s team is the hope and belief they can recapture the old days.

They wasted a really good year from their offense. It’s a shame. Even a middle of the pack D would have had this team in the playoffs.

Now that’s the attitude – all these haters don’t see the potential this team has. New city and new stadium – not bad at all. The losses this season could have easily gone the other way. Raiders were the only team to beat KC, and IN KC! And the last game was a true classic that reminded of the golden age of Raiders when they could stack up those penalties yet still win. This team has tons of potential and when we get a REAL season with REAL fans in the stadium it’s going to be GAME ON. Until then it’s all just practice and warm up.
