    No. Some of the field goals were an issue but I dont blame the decision. They are fine. The issue is playcalling in the redzone which still isnt a major issue

    Robert Dore If we can’t trust our defense to hold off a FG (40~ yards) in 19 seconds, we couldn’t trust them to hold off 75 yards for the TD in 65~ seconds. That scenario had a 100% win rate until our defense made it 99%.

    @D Guess when drafting I think it’s wise to take best player available .. this is the 2019 NFL draft being referred to, we ended up drafting Foster that year, I think hes good value but nowhere near as good as Hockenson whom I see as being the best TE for the next decade. Waller is great but not a true TE, more of a WR/TE hybrid whom everyone thinks is unstoppable until he’s nowhere to be found. Anyhow I would have also have been happy with one of the top LBs from that draft.

    @Robert Dore no. That was analytically and logically the right move to make. That “knee” vs Maimi made perfect sense. Even the Miami defense was trying to shove Jacobs across the endzone

    Simple domino effect. A great defense minimizes the time that their offense is on the field and stretches the time their defense is on the field. And a tired opposing team defense is always an asset for our offense.

    Conversely, a weak defense keeps their offense on the playing field longer, resulting in a more rested defense of theirs to play against our offense.
