I’m going to my first Home game this year. The only tickets that were “reasonable” were for the WFT at $341 a piece. The prices for the Bills game last year were quite a bit cheaper if I remember right, but obviously crowds weren’t allowed. I’m guessing they are really trying to regain some losses here.

I got 6 vs Washington for 400ea+75 in fees.

Aaron Rodgers is an upgrade at the QB position. That’s all that matters. Why would you not want to upgrade to a better QB, one who has won a Super Bowl, if you could? Yes, defense matters, but when it comes to running the offense, I’d take Rodgers over Carr any day.

Fake fan, huh? I watched the Raiders win 2 Super Bowls. I’ve seen real, tough QBs play the game. I know of a Raiders QB, who won those 2 Super Bowls that I watched, who should be in the Hall of Fame, and I know when a QB doesn’t have what it takes to win the whole thing. Heck, Carr may never even with a playoff game. He’s overrated. And yeah, all the Broncos really need is a solid QB. Once they have that, we’ll be in trouble.

@Gabriel but Rodgers would cost us the entirety of our salary cap if not more. Yes, upgrades are all fine and dandy, but not if it bankrupts you. The money should be put to the flat tires and blown engine, not the decals for the windows.

Car analogies don’t equate well with the NFL. We need to win a Super Bowl now. A team can turn completely around and become competitive in as little as two years, and a change at QB can be a big help. The Chiefs were fine with Alex Smith, but they weren’t a Super Bowl contender until they upgraded to Mahomes. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Derek Carr is our Alex Smith. And until we can finally see past Carr and upgrade at the QB position, we’re not going to compete for a Super Bowl. I’m sorry, but Carr just doesn’t have it. He’s a great guy, but he’s not going to win the Super Bowl, and he’d struggle to win a playoff game, if he could. That’s just how it is, and I’d rather break the bank on Rodgers and win a Super Bowl than be a responsible spender and stay with the Commitment to Mediocrity that we have with Carr and just stay on a cycle of rebuilding.
