Coach Flores meets with the media ahead of Friday’s practice | Miami Dolphins – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE

I’ll tell you what bothers me about the press. They claim they’re pro dolphin but they are always trying to prod BFlo to sabotage the team. Take something as simple as availability. They complain because BFlo is vague about injured players. At the same time they know that teams have only so much time to game plan for every possible contingency. If teams know for sure who is and is not playing they can narrow down the game plan. The smart thing for a coach to do is keep the other team guessing until the last minute. Then like the Watson thing… if BFlo would have went full disclosure with their moves, it would’ve blown up the team. No way we would be here right now, with at least a chance.

The press claims they’re “pro dolphin”? I think you’re confused. They don’t claim that and their role is not to be part of the team, it’s to report on the team. The NFL has rules with regard to the injury report and any team that violates them to try to mislead the other team about who might not play is going to get heavily fined.

Problem with media….They have agendas….it’s all about the clicks

@Don wrong and wrong… why argue when you know what I mean. When I say the press, I mean the Miami Dolphins beat writers/columnists like Omar, Armando, Habib, Hyde etc. and they do profess to be Dol-fans. As far as injuries go, every team can and Is illusive with that information unless a player is going on I.R. Questionable, doubtful, probable all these designations are so that the team can legally not tip their hand.

    Ensenador Jones

The press dig for a story that will promote their career. Controversy is going to increase their ratings and their viewership.

@Ensenador Jones exactly… I listened to them complain as if it’s a slight against us fans and their ability to do their job. Tua was barely hanging on. If BFlo would have said publicly to those reporters, “yes we are negotiating to replace Tua”, we would never have been here. Those kind innocent reporters would’ve dragged Tua, and the entire organization. He’s only a kid, no way he could’ve stood the onslaught that would’ve rolled through the locker room, the league and the entire sports world. We would’ve been done, and they know that. But what did they say about… BFlo is dishonest, why does he lie, all he says is Tua’s our quarterback, why won’t he just admit the truth? I get it that’s their job but they’re our information source for our team. The motivate fans towards a mindset that they say is owed to us and at the same time they know that it’s a lie because it’s an oxymoron. What fans want is results, most of us couldn’t care less about the particular as long as we’re winning.
