@Deacon Gowan Hell no. We haven’t won with him since he’s been here. He doesn’t know how to coach in today’s world. He gets completely out coached from other coaches. We should have never got rid of Jack Del Rio. That was Mark Davis’s first mistake. We need a young CREATIVE offensive coach because we have zero creative plays. Our play calling is so damn predictable a freakin high school coach could pick up on it.

Hire a time management consultant that can tell us when to take timeouts since we have been proven clueless in that aspect of the game….also a consultant like the Ravens have that lets the coach know when and when not to go for field goals on 4th down and when its statistically proven to be advantageous to go for it as opposed to punting or trying a field goal….

@jacob gomez i personally think hes just milking another season of payday. how can you hurt your calf and sit out the season.. if covid didnt change how many are allowed on injured reserve he would be gone… hopefully they dont resign him next yr..

@Chris Bommelje he should take charge, but at this point, it’s all a matter of execution, attention to detail and the will to win… I was pissed at Carr, then I saw the Raiders YouTube Channel – Tape Don’t Lie, All 22 film breakdown. I highly recommend them, they definitely know about football than anyone else that I’ve seen. They know it all from just seeing it and then they give the names of each play called and go into detail about each and every player’s responsibilities, proper technique and why… it’s a great Channel that is dedicated to the Raiders only. Anyways, judging from the game on TV, I was pissed at Carr, but after watching Tape Don’t Lie’s breakdown of the game, we basically had Renfrow, Miller, Carr, the Defense and Special Teams that looked like they were focused, dialed-in and doing their jobs… even then, they all had a couple of plays that they didn’t execute properly and could have been better, but D-Jax didn’t run routes properly that he should know as a staple of the west coast offense. Edwards should have ran to the goal post = exactly where Carr threw the ball = that would have given us the lead and we probably would have won the game. There was an overall lack of intensity, confidence and will to win, but the even then if Edwards did his job on that play, if Zay would have drawn the dpi or caught the ball that hit his facemask we would have won, or if Moerihg would’ve caught that pick 6 or at least just caught the ball, WE WOULD HAVE WON!!!
The QB always gets the blame, but we had multiple opportunities during the last few loses to go for it on 4th down, but didn’t!!!
They’re pros, but if the head coach doesn’t show his team that he has confidence in them, they won’t. Not after everything that they have been through this season.
Look at his body language… it’s the equivalent of a dog tucking it’s tail between it’s legs. Crouched over, leaning against the podium like he’s wounded and not going to make it through the press conference… he obviously doesn’t realize that it’s up to him to set the tone. He’s not demonstrating the characteristics, attributes and virtues of a leader. He had better wake up, reach down and remind himself that he has balls and needs to start using them!!!
As for Carr, he has to let D-Jax go deep 5+ times a game to show his team that they’ll do what it takes to win, even if he has to chuck it deep 10 times a game!!! He’s going to have to know that he can’t come off D-Jax so quickly. Same with Waller… receivers that have speed can get open later, he hasn’t had a #1 WR for several years in a row to develop that kind of trust and confidence in them to stay with them a little bit longer before going to their next receiver in the progression or going back to them after the secondary and tertiary receivers are not open.
Considering that this Raiders team has had the most drama and controversy of any team in the history of sports, in fact they’ve had more in this 1 season than 95% of most teams have EVER had!!! So, after all of that, it’s amazing that they’ve done as well as they have!!!
But considering that before Ruggs blew up a woman’s car, killing her and her dog and with them, his future and this Raiders team’s season. Before that, they looked like they could beat anyone and were at least a playoff team and possibly had a shot at the Lombardi trophy… and that was despite the fact that they couldn’t run block, Jacobs was struggling and the defense couldn’t stop the run!!! So how were they so impressive…??? Because Carr had Ruggs to open up the field for Waller, Renfrow, Edwards and Moreau… Carr’s performance vs the Broncos and especially the Eagles was a thing of beauty, a work of art, poetry in motion… he was darn NEAR PERFECT!!!
So if that’s what Carr is capable of with a legit deep threat, no running game, poor pass blocking and a defense that can rush the passer, but not stop the run, then WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD WE GET RID OF HIM??? ESPECIALLY AFTER OUT OF THE 5 FIRST ROUND PICKS IN THE LAST COUPLE OF SEASONS, WE GOT 1 GREAT ROOKIE RUSHING SEASON AND THIS SEASON OF GREAT PLAY AROUND THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE FROM ABRAM, BUT IN COVERAGE, HE’S A LIABILITY!!!
IT WAS 19 starting QBs in 9 seasons in between Gannon and Carr!!! There’s really only 5 or 6 QBs that are any better than Carr, but they aren’t going to want to come to this Raiders team!!! AND if they did, how much of the Salary Cap would we have to pay them…??? How could we sign anyone to make the team better…???
If we draft someone with the O Line we have and lack of receivers, they’d get demolished!!! He’d lose all confidence and it would take us another 19 QBs to find another one!!!
So what is it going to be…??? Reload and get great coaches to turn it around within a season, maybe 2 or go another 5 to 10 seasons of this losing crap…???

Yeah, that really pissed me off! He wanna play dumb! I can’t wait till the season is over.
