@RAIDER CASPER Agreed….but we have had our casualties this year too — Good, Incognito, Ingold, Ruggs, Gruden, Kaitkowski…… Especially the O Line injuries have hurt. Yesterday show, that when you have a passing based attack with occasional runs — good things happen if you O line holds. 509 yards total….we could lose the 14 penalties, though.

@Jackie Chun_420 Honestly you have a great point. I like Carr and it has been disappointing lately, but people jump to blaming someone right away. How about looking at the film and seeing guys aren’t getting open fast enough or not at all. Carr literally can’t do everything himself. There’s no speed threat anymore so safeties won’t drop back as far or as often to help with the deep threat so they’re there to help the corners more. O line is better than they were, but still not great to give the protection needed for plays to develop. Literally the only bright spot right now is the defense and pass rush.

They should do a two TE scheme since we don’t have that number one receiver

Anyways, I think he has proven that he doesn’t need a perfect team, he just needs decent coaching, a decent defense, and decent weapons. When he has had that, he has succeeded. He has one of the most winningest coaches in NFL history, a fantastic O-line, the fastest WR in the league, and the best TE in the league. Yeah… we don’t have those things if you haven’t noticed.

Carr is an above average qb who is too inconsistent to support a super bowl contending team. A lot of people make excuses for his problems on the field and it shows. To each their own.

My main point is that, with proper weapons, he has the ability to be elite and take a team to the playoffs and beyond. He is not the Mahomes (even though I hate him) level player that can potentially do it by himself (although I don’t Mahomes can either without the weapons and coaching that he has). I agree, he’s alway appears scared and panics to get the first downs. Even Joe Borrow who tore his ACL tried running to gain the first down. But not Carr he is a sitting duck. I get it, his game isn’t being a mobile QB but he doesn’t even try to keep plays alive.

He really hasn’t ever had a good wr when he did he played good with all that being said when it’s 3rd and 9 or 3rd and goal from the 8 you don’t check down to the rb 2 yds behind the line of scrimmage & I saw him do this in the 1st half 3 times maybe a change is best for both parties

The Answer is because he is Afraid… He is scared of contact, he says the same thing over and over in these press conferences about he hates losing n needs to be better but keeps doing the same thing… He will throw the ball away instead of trying to make a play with his feet like Marcus would for a 1st down or TD… Now that Ruggs is gone he won’t throw down the field unless someone is wide open… He throws left to right instead down field, to me Marcus needs to have chances just like they give Carr… At least he’s not afraid of contact, it’s football your gonna get hit.

@John B Name another team who faced equal adversity to losing your head coach and star wide receiver beginning of the season. Losing HC GRUDEN and Star WR Henry Ruggs are major people to lose. The team was built around HC GRUDEN’s scheme and Henry Ruggs big play ability. I

I am tired of the excuses as well but this is defenitely a legit reason. In my opinion, keep Carr and build around what you have until at least next year. We can pick up Devonte Adams from the Green Bay Packers and hire some offensive and defensive lineman. The raiders will have large cap space next year $$
