What I find insanely wild is how well Barton communicated with our guys on defense throughout the game and it really showed. No doubt that JB is a great player but with Barton in the mic LB position our secondary was in the right spots more often than not on Sunday. His communication came through big time and the guys actually listened. That’s the thing NOBODY is talking about at all.

    It’s actually true. Maybe JB would have played better without relaying the call to the team. The same thing happened with Patrick queen this year with the addition of roquan smith. Take away the responsibility of relaying the call and he played more free… interesting point. Either way, need Barton’s best game this week. We are going to win this game.

Good job Clint the last two weeks tightening up this defense. I’ve been hard on him the past few weeks but gotta give him credit. At least we’re going into playoffs on a 2 games win streak. My opinion they should play man to man and blitz a lot. Total focus on stopping the run. If we get beat deep so be it. At least it forces Purdy to test woolen and diggs. That’s what I’d do

2. Win the turnover battle
3. Don’t let Kittle get open
4. Establish the run game early and stick to it if it works.
5. Make Purdy uncomfortable all game so he makes rookie mistakes
