Calais is a run stopper not a pass rusher. His sacks are a by product of his ability to stop the run and what rated as one of the best in the entire league. Do your research before you start boo-hoo-ing.

Everyone is crying about the defense this year the way they were with the offense last year. We are the #1 run stopping defense, and 31st against the pass.
Yeah but 1 against the run and last against the pass make you a pretty predictable team to game plan around. The Peters injury hurt us more than people realize I think. Humphrey had a down year prior to his injury but was still decent. But when him and Peters were on the flanks, we really limited teams offensively. Now it’s basically free for the taking and we’ve been seeing that all season long.
Having said that the D has stepped up recently and been playing better than expected.
31st against the pass is crazy bad 😂 it’s only 32 teams. Our record project a winning team. It’s gracious that we even in playoff contention with a 31st ranked passing defense in a passing league.

@Anthony yeah no doubt. I already knew Peter’s being out was going to hurt us, but just like the team itself the only people worried about was our injuries at RB. With Peter’s out, Marlo was the only person they had to worry about.

We just need to get healthy and be ready for next year. We will be stacked after this offseason. Hella depth, all the stars returning and more cap. Not to mention our draft picks 9 in the first four rounds. Don’t get your hopes up for a sb this year we may make the playoffs, but we won’t make it that far, we are just too handicapped and inexperienced.
