Not really. Andy Dalton spreads the ball around pretty well. If they cover Olave he can go to Callaway,Landry,Kamara,Johnson or even Trequan

I honestly think Michael Thomas days as a Saint are numbered though. He better save his coins because after this contract is up,no team is going to touch him

I disagree bro… yes his dead cap hit will be massive, but we would gain much needed draft capital.. I say take the hit and draft well, we’ll be fine.. we are effed for next year’s draft as is.. so it’s like a pick your poison thang.. we have alotta holes that need filling.. and I also think MT will still fetch a decent price given his resume.. he’s an aging asset atp.. we need to get what we can..

I hope Thomas never wears a Saints uniform again my man. Not gonna lie to you. He’s played one game in two years getting paid all that money. He waited all this time to finally get surgery on his toe. BTW, the coach said he ain’t playing the rest of the season anymore. F that. Wasted salary space for others.

He’s not coming back the rest of the season. Dennis Allen already cleared that up. You’ll never see Thomas in a Saints uniform again.

💯%. Ever since Drew left, he didn’t want to play anymore. He rode out a season, then comes back one game the next season and gets a hurt toe, then waits another 5 games to decide he’s gonna have surgery which he knew would take him out the rest of the season. Good receiver. Did a lot for the team. But he’s screwing the team.

Nobody’s bandwagoning anything. Thomas signed a huge contract and played maybe two games in two seasons. He finally decides he’s gonna get surgery in his toe, then be out again. He’s playing the system and the Saints front office won’t play that game. They can free up so much money for other players by getting rid of the highest paid dead weight.

Yea, I’m pissed ….but that dont help at all. When,…or IF,…Mike gets his operation, and the operation is successful,..and he rehabs properly,…and he doesnt get anymore injuries in the process,….Olave and Thomas are great 1-2 recievers,..we would be set for next year. Nothing we can do, nobody wants his contract at how much he is getting paid, no matter what, we will have him for next year. Get Well Mike.
