Continue to integrate Moore into the offense he brings an element to the offense which is another weapon at Patrick’s disposal. It was a ho hum victory winning by only 16 but a win is a win 🥇. Get Ready for the Bengals. Nick Bolton is a very good defensive player. Focus on doing better in the Red zone gonna need to be great against Cincinnati they’re a good team.
Yeah I love Nick Bolton back to back interceptions back to back weeks. Yeah our red zone has got to be better against the Bengals and we need to run the ball against those guys when they drop 8 against us. We are doing that this year. Our adjustments are going to have to be on point against this team.

My theory is that he just thrives in uncomfortable situations.
He has been that way since he took over as starter. He has that true underdog mentality, he always plays better under pressure

The chiefs have a top ten defense. There top 5 run blocking top 15 passing and top 5 in sacks. And doing this against 7 of the top 10 offenses in the league.
I said in the preseason Pacheco would be our starter before the bi week. I was close. He still managed to impress me though. Dude is a beast and I’m happy he’s a Chief!!!

KC had that Watson TD called back for ineligible man downfield. That’s gonna happen with off-schedule throws, but off-schedule throws are a big reason why KC is the #1 seed in the AFC at this point in the season. Not a whole lot to clean up, other than just keep cleaning things up, generally, like they’re doing.
It’s almost sad to see a proud Rams team having a losing season right after winning the Super Bowl. You can see there’s still great talent, but they’ve reverted back to the mean, due to injuries and players just moving on.
Moves like the Tyreek Hill trade are why the Chiefs have stayed in contention. The Cincy game will be a stern test for the young DBs. They’ve got giant WRs for miles. KC’s got giant DBs for miles. You gotta think Burrow’s going to rack up some big numbers, but there will be some passes that this year’s group will contest better than last year’s group. They’ve got size, this year, and they’re not as afraid to lay hands on WRs at the line. McDuffie’s not big, but he plays big.
Sneed and Thornhill are the only starters back from last season. Sneed’s right. Both McDuffie and he can play inside or outside. I would add that either one of them could play robber as good as Tyrann, mentally, and both probably have an edge on him, athletically.
Realizing it’s time to part ways with the “old” secondary and being pretty satisfied with the “new” secondary are two different things. I remember watching the draft with some trepidation. Then I did film study on the guys we picked, like lazy nerds do. All the film was good, and mostly translated to the NFL. Guys are still growing, but the floor was pretty high, right out of the gate.
That’s a mouthful but I agree 1000%. The Rams are struggling due to a tougher schedule and retirements, injuries, deflections, and so on. I mean their defense is good but in most of the games I’ve watched they get outplayed and outhustled in a majority of the games. I thought that TD was to Gray not Watson. And honestly I think Mahomes missed Watson wide open in the corner. McDuffie plays really big! I love his enthusiasm and toughness. And ball hawk skills. I love Sneed, I even love Williams and with time and experience he will be a better corner. I love Watson the cornerback. I really love the young guys. Karlifis got his first sack. That’s huge. The defense needs to continue being opportunistic. Try to bat that ball in the air so one of our guys can get it. Big Freak Chris Jones is a monster.

I’ll neeeeeever forget Mahomes debit ingo back and look at it sometimes, this has to be one on the best moves in Chiefs history, Mahomes going to end up with a statue in Kansas City Missouri watch!
