The oline wasn’t giving Patrick much time.
They made the adjustments late, you could see Patrick getting the ball out much quicker because of this. Looked a little like the Packers offense late game and how Rodgers gets the ball out quick as can be on quick routes that hit really hard.
Hmmm, didn’t Mahomes get sacked three times? Or am I wrong? Not good.
@KansasHoneyBadger It happens. I give credit to the Broncos D-line on that one. Not the poor play of our O-line. You can give up 4 sacks in one game and still win. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the Chiefs win 43-16?

@Derek Mathews Winning is great and I will take any honest win, but, no one wants Mahomes injured; those sacks didn’t look real comfortable for the QB.

Mahomes had 200 passing yards and a td and they still crapped on the Broncos. That proves the defense and spt has improved
It proves they are a complete team, and if teams wanna just contain Mahomes they will still lose. Reid is brilliant.

@Hail Odin the TE got clearly beat on one of those sacks. If the OL has someone they’re blocking already then it could be on a RB, TE, or that 1st read isn’t open and the QB holds the ball. It’s not always on the OL.

Pringle came from special teams university, Kansas State University. Been waiting for this 3yrs. This is no mystery to K-State fans. He has better return instincts than Hardman.

@Dennis Reddig I don’t believe it’s just that he fumbled. I question his vision & decision making. TBH, Tremon Smith was a more productive returner & I felt Pringle could be just as productive as him, but he was on IR his 1st yr. Both Tremon & Mecole were draft picks while Pringle was a UDFA. I believe coaches are obligated by the GM to grant draft picks more plays before a UDFA unless injury opens the door. Sammy Watkins injury has had a domino effect on Pringle getting more opportunities.
