Chicago Bears vs. New England Patriots | 2022 Week 7 Highlights – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
The Anomaly

The bears look like an entirely different team coming off the mini bye. They took a long look in the mirror after so many slow starts and close losses.

    mkicon

    A great sign. Nagy always got wrecked after time off, notably after the actual bye. Good sign from Eberflus

    Potza

    Patriots played poorly and a lot teams will put more effort playing against the patriots. Similar to how teams will try harder when playing Golden State

    David V

    @The Anomaly
    They were .500 coming into the week, not “hot”. No team that is even mediocre could ever get destroyed by a trash team like the Bears.

    No Game

    @David V nah justin fields is gonna turn things around for Chicago

Joseph Novak

Montgomery has to have one of the highest “yards after contact” stats in the whole league right now. Dude is a beast!

    Jäger From GSG9

    Saw his stat line yesterday was like 57 total rush yards. 43 of them were after initial contact, that’s insane.

    Anthony Puccini

    @Brandon Brock I don’t get it either. I also don’t understand why it has to be a competition within the fanbase. Just be happy we have both of them and they compliment each other well.

    lil eddie

    @Brandon Brock he ain’t just fast he a dawg tooo you can’t go wrong with either of the 2

Christian Galvan

What a coincidence two Chicago sports teams defeating two Boston teams in the same night

    D1mooney

    @Mellyy if you go watch all of our games we lost instead of packers we should’ve won the Vikings game and commanders

    Dan G

    The funny part is coach belicheck is tied with most wins all time with George Halas hall

    Daily Bassist

    @Mellyy we’re better than our record. Still missing lots of talent on offense and D line but we should at least be 4-3 right now.

    E thang

    Even crazier that they were both trailing by a good amount too!😎

    Rob Sparks

    Well technically it’s now the New England Patriots Not Boston Patriots anymore But yea still 2 New England teams

Westside 4LIFE

Justin Fields took another step in the right direction! Good upset victory! GO BEARS!!!

D Strong

As a bears fan, I’m proud of the improvement, but we have so much more room for improvement as well. They easily could have scored two more touchdowns but had to settle for the FG

    King Gamerz

    Literally we could’ve dropped 44 this game but didn’t score on our last drive and didn’t score on our last interception never the less still very happy with this game

    gofukueself

    fields still needs ALOT of work

    Anime Soulful

    this is one of the first time weve scored over 30 points in years. this was an amazing game

    Denny Ghetto 438

    Always complaining about something we won the game that’s what matters

    谦逊的

    @Denny Ghetto 438 exactly these “fans” don’t appreciate nothing

erik puka

The Bears offensive gameplan was incredible

    Vercingetorix Arverni

    @MUG I think Brady has wildly inflated that stat as the ultimate outlier but their is a little something to that take.

    I’d feel a lot better about having a pure pocket passer since it seems like playoff defenses always neuter the scramblers..

    bza069

    @Jay Long yeah… poor guy takes forever to read defense and find open guy. He’s gonna get crippled in short career.. bank on it.

    bza069

    @A. Barker he almost got broke in half on that play…sandwiched the hell out of him second he let pass go… watch it again

    A. Barker

    @bza069 I agree don’t have to watch again. Hit from behind. No call? Why. If he saw what was coming from behind he would of never stayed in there. But he did. Payton have him big props.

    JabroniKing

    @Walter Paddick the game is changing, old man. QBs are now major part of the run game for teams. Just look at the Eagles, Chiefs, Bills, Giants, Ravens, etc.

Craig Schruhm

Justin Fields game tonight was what Denver expected from Russell Wilson. His evasion, scrambling, success in broken plays and passing accuracy (not always pretty) were just outstanding.
Helluva game Justin

    David Smith

    Exactly, what the Patriots have done with Jones and Zappe, is that they have put these two in a box. They have coddled and controlled each one like robots. To be a great quarterback you have to improvise sometimes. Bill and Kraft don’t want any of that, but they praise the other QB’s on other teams that do when they win.

    Manchesterexplorer

    Russell is way to old to be ayong like that , if Denver thought that’s what they were getting then Denver deserves it lol.

    juwan harris

    He’s a Lamar/Russ hybrid

KhalDrogo76

As a lifelong Bears fan in Massachusetts I can’t even describe how sweet this game was…

    Олег Кулаков

    I remember that a week ago, the Pats fans said that this season was already in their pocket, lol 🎃🏉🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    David V

    @Олег Кулаков
    Yet you can’t give a single example of a Pats fan who said that. Seems reasonable.

    Shawn Spencer

    @KhalDrogo76 really quick…….what made you decide to be a Bears fan livin in Massachusetts all your life?……just curious is all

    KhalDrogo76

    @Shawn Spencer Walter payton 1983

Andrew Villarruel

Let’s talk about that throw from fields at 5:09 🔥🔥

    FobbitOperator

    Yeah, that was FIRE!!!

    D Lou

    Look at 7:36 he literally looks like Russ pressure don’t bother him

03focussvt943

Solid performance by Da Bears all around tonight.

Eric Linder

Lifelong Chargers fan here – have always admired the Bears from afar, and tonight – what a great performance all-around! Congrats Bears and Bears fans!

    David V

    @bruce2256
    Anytime, sport.

    cefb

    @David V The Bears are in a rebuild lol

    David V

    @cefb
    The Bears have been in a rebuild for about a decade.

    David V

    @Eric Mahaffey
    The only terrible take here is yours. And those Giants teams are a ridiculous false equivalency. They flat out cheated to “win” the game in 07 and got insanely lucky to win the second one. As mediocre as they were, they were still better than either of these teams. There is zero chance either of these teams make the Superbowl this year. ZERO. Highly unlikely they even make the playoffs. So, yes, these are meaningless games outside of the sense that we can gather intel about the players on each team and that they are getting experience at the NFL level. Wins and losses are completely irrelevant for both of these teams outside of draft position. They would both be better off losing as many games as possible.

Nick Barrie

Looks like the Bears really needed that mini-bye. Looked like a team I haven’t seen all season. Well done

Dan Gniadek

Fields, Monty, and the Defense had a awesome game tonight.

    Tone Bone

    Can’t forget about our x factor Herbert

Scruff D0g

Fields played really well tonight in a very tough environment. Credit to the bears for outplaying the patriots.

Anthony Puccini

This has got to be the craziest, most unpredictable season we’ve had in a long time.

    ch hansen

    @Anthony Puccini Gee thanks, scholar! What is the first step to start winning games, GENIUS? SCORING FLIPPIN’ POINTS! Stick to playing with barbie dolls and window peeping on your mommy and little sister cuz football aint your lane!

    PHILJACK ChicagoTV

    Welcome to universal sports Betting 🥺

    Enemigo

    It’s Vegas bro

    TheBeast

    @Jerome Garcia “i can actually prove this” 🤡🤣

Elias Martinez

As a huge Bears fan this was so satisfying to see our offense score 33 points. Bear down baby 🐻⬇️

    Kirby Master

    🐻⬇️

    mann15618

    Damn right… 🐻⬇️!!!

    mark johnson

    So true I hope they can keep it up. We all see what the offense can do, when you keep Justin on the move and out of the pocket. Why did it take this long? Everyone knew this. And we don’t get paid.

    Hewy_?

    🐻 ⬇️

    Elias Martinez

    @mark johnson truth

Nick Porter

Well that was unexpected. If they could just keep playing as a team like this every week.

Joshua Pickett

That win was much needed!!! The bears looked so in sync

Javhon Sago

Fields has great composure. Our crowd was a monster in the first half, pure chaos. A couple bad possessions on his part. But he never looked rattled and he bounced back from the tipped INT & a fumble. His mental fortitude is impressive, it is exactly what I want to see out of franchise quarterback. He’s smart and I’m sure he’s gonna learn from his mistakes tonight. I’m excited to see his development and growth. Got a really good staff behind him and they’re committed and so is he. Y’all real lucky to have this kid. Dude is growing but there’s gonna be much more highs and lows but I have faith in him but your fanbase needs to encourage him, y’all talk stupid every bad game. Nah lift this kid up he talented. He’s special and the QB position is a real fragile position to develop a superstar. The Bears fan base needs to chill, like the bills Fanbase did with Josh Allen. Not to take away from the victory it was a Great win, but there will be more growing pains, trust the process, celebrate this victory, we’ll see y’all again #PatriotNation #gg

    Matt Luke

    @Jacob W I don’t know what fans you’re running into because all I do is go into the comment sections of every post about the bears and fields just gets flamed. And no he’s not free of criticism, but he deserves maybe 25% of the blame when we lose. The other 75% is our team that we’ve surrounded him with, which is not good. It’s amazing that when the coaches play to his strengths, he plays his best all around game and we win. And we are literally only scratching the surface with his potential. Gotta stop using the Bears QB scapegoat because it has been going on too long. The ones who aren’t educated enough on the game always blame the qb when in reality its everything but the qb. He needs help and he got part of it from the coaches last night.

    Asani the Afrofuturist

    As an Ohio State fan this comment kinda warms my heart not gonna lie! I have faith in Justin as well he’s starting to show some great leadership qualities!! I wanna show up to a game one day I’ve never been to a Bears game

    Javhon Sago

    Yeah it took josh Allen about 25 starting games to click, JF is at 16 and Nagy messed a bunch of those games up for him. It’s a process but cat tear down all the time

    s clinton

    well said.

    O Really?

    Fields needs the right ✅️ plays and then he will shine.

FusionLSM

This was such a fun game to watch tonight as a bears fan, especially with how our season has been going this year. We defended Halas record and Fields played an amazing game couldn’t have asked for a better game.

    Rolando C

    On the road for their 1st ever win on the road against Pats. On MNF.. Bears showed out 🐻

    FusionLSM

    @Rolando C yessir
