    @Mac Cooper I seriously doubt that, they went into the draft knowing the second pick would be a LB. And when they saw the one of the two LBs they like drafted they decided to go get him. They don’t pay guys millions a month before to start at WR just to draft a #1 or 2 pick to play in front of them, it just doesn’t happen.

I know people wanted us to get receivers from the draft, but our receiving corps has been added to in free agency with Kirk and Jones and the line has been revamped. We couldn’t get it all in one year, but the Jaguars won’t resemble last year’s Jaguars at all. We are gonna start showing a little “Swagger” finally. I know the other teams improved too. That’s why we added the athleticism that we did. Quarterbacks will look at our defense and not know what we’re going to do pre-snap because we can come from anywhere and drop into coverage anywhere. We are going to have fun watching the Jaguars again. Travon Walker, Devin Lloyd, Chad Muma, a bruising running back, a new and really good center, two new prospective cornerbacks, not to mention what we might get from the undrafted free agents. Austin is a find if he is healthy and there could be others. Jaguars are changing before our very eyes. Now the hard work starts and the process of the cuts. Some of these guys won’t make it, but many will. New team, new coach, new season! Go Jags!

Yannick earned a new contract with his play on the field. He didn’t whine, he understood his value. Big difference. If Caldwell wasn’t such a sucker for Gator players maybe he could have built a sustainable winner here. Change the tune on Yann, he stood up to that epic bust Fowler in practice and theu should have let Yan wear Fowler’s @$$ out. Yan showed ownership of his team and that clownish GM Caldwell and Coughlin combo didn’t understand Yannick’s value. All four are no longer here and we are future focused but Yannick would have gotten along well with Oluakan and Fatukasi. Yannick should have been the first of this “trend” to resign good players.
