Hopefully throughout training camp someone gets released say like an experienced maybe older but still serviceable RT do to younger guys getting the position and Chargers pick one up at least for competition I mean I’m pretty sure most r better upgrades than Storm or Pipkins anyway doesn’t have to be a Pro Bowler but my opinion as long as better than Storm or Pipkins I’ll feel better about the RT situation
Herbert is just way tooo valuable to risk him getting injured
@Original One facts They don’t have to be a pro bowler they don’t have to be an all pro but you can’t be a liability definitely agree I feel like they could put Matt at right tackle and put Jarmme slayer at G also trey has been Working out with slater I feel like Anybody is better than storm But Herbert for sure needs to be protected I can’t have him getting hit
Chargers need to make a trade to get a solid right tackle before this year’s trade deadline. Bolt Up!!!!
Honestly, I don’t think it’s necessary. The right side was an issue last year because it was both spots that were subpar, and they couldn’t assign the guard to support the tackle or vice versa. Assuming Zion is a quality plug and play starter, it covers basically a hole and a half, and the rest of the line is good enough to carry the RT. If they DO want to try and grab someone, they can, or if someone steps up and play well, great. But I don’t think the right side is going to be sad big a detriment as it was last year.
I hear Money on the O-Line being part of the problem for Kelley and Roundtree not putting up numbers , but Ekeler runs behind those same lineman !! I think it’s gonna be Ekeler , Spiller , Horvath , and Brown !!!
Ekeler, Spiller, Brown then Nabers and Horvath.. Horvath could play RB/FB and ST.

I’m telling you Zander Horvath is gonna play like 3 positions for this team… besides special teams… He has exceptional feet.
Great hands..tuff to tackle. Hback/Fullback/goal line/4th down…he’s an upgrade.
Definitely one of my favorite picks for the Chargers. Big guy with speed for his position, and some moves. Allstott reboot.

An all time chargers great but is unkown because of being a Long Snapper. Bolt fam who know I salute you those that dont check the stats. The man was a pillar for our team!

Idk, Leonard’s size and speed, plus his ability to play inside and outside CB, I think makes him one of the best options to keep as far as late round DBs to keep. Not only does he fit Staleys defense and have tons of versatility, but I think he can be one heck of a gunner on special teams. He has really good speed and is a very active and willing tackler, especially in run defense. I think he makes the perfect gunner or outside rusher trying to block kicks to really help elevate our special teams unit.
Agreed, I would take Leonard over camble any day.

4th & Staley, I love this guy. He makes the game fun.
What if we sign free agent Riley reiff? He’s a pretty good right tackle if there still deciding on getting one, or Anthony barr? Every time I watch him play he’s just really good and would give us good depth at the linebacker spot. Or the one I want the most trey flowers? to add another big rusher to our defensive line he’s an amazing player doing it big on the lions so imagine him coming to a better team playing with Mack and bosa man that would be deadly. Kevin king or Alexander Johnson… any of these would be big picks

I would love to see those new Navy tops with the white pants. You can go with the old Navy helmets like Chris mentions, but I think that combo with the White helmets, that have the navy number and the navy face mask they normally wear with the all Navy uniforms would be 🔥🔥🔥⚡️⚡️⚡️
The Chargers are a great paper team. But it seems every year they have a great paper team. They still have big weaknesses. Right tackle is obvious and the last Raider was a case in point. Inside linebackers that don’t fill gaps or have slow recognition and show up late to the party. Depth was a problem and it showed in the Houston game. If you can say it, they have a receiver corps with Williams, Allen, Guyton, and Palmer that could be the best in NFL. But again, it still a paper team. The biggest question is how Staley creates a cohesive team and emphasizes the season as a game by game project. They can’t have lapses like in the Patriots, Vikings, first Bronco, and Houston games. I stood in line in 1965 to get a ticket at the old Balboa Stadium, the guy in front of me was Bob Hope. I’ll always be a bolt fan. I just hope they can transcend the paper quality and be a complete team.
Have faith old timer as this will be a special year. If we even have a middle of the pack defense, Herbert will drag us into the playoffs.
