@Ryan Tarvers B–/C+ trade for mack. He spent the last few years constantly being double teamed because opposing offenses didn’t fear many others on the Bears defense. That’s a lot of wear and tear. Beyond Herbert, Rashawn Slater has been the best pick up in quite some time.

@Ryan Tarvers Derwin has had too many injuries. Not enough time on the field to warrant him being labeled as a world beater. Asante, same thing. I respect Joey but again, with no other real threats, he is constantly being double teamed as well. I’d say trade for a DB but draft the beef on the lines. You stoked on 1st round draft pick Ken Murry? 1st round draft Jerry Tillary? I’m not.

My only worry is we did what a bill Belichik never does: paying a guy based on his name past the age of 30 a ton of money. We could’ve gotten chandler Jones for less and likely more production and less injury risk if we’re going that route. We need CB, DT, RT, RG still and now don’t have a 2nd. With chandler Jones we would’ve gotten him and kept our pick and saved a few mil in cap to grab a prove it contract guard or tackle and add a rotational piece or two for depth. Depth is what killed us as we will lose 6-8 starters per year. That’s just the NFL and especially the chargers

@LeftHanded04 well said.chargers overpaying Williams as well.20 mil a year is too much for 2 years of production.Wr are a dime a dozen with all the talent coming out of college ,and like always ,the QB makes the wr.not the other way around

@Dontno Nowuno IMO Williams had one year of production as he’s never had more than 37 receptions before last year IIRC. He played very well, but 20M dollars? 10% of the total cap? Nah. He’s worth about 14M tops per year and that’s if we’re looking at upside. Higgins is far more well rounded. I’d also take a hunter renfrow over Williams as renfrow can Julian Edelman your best corner up and down the field. We could draft a great WR in the 2nd every single year as you said

He’s not dumb.He knows he can prolong his career and get another contract.Hes not getting paid enough to be a do it all back either so he needs to stay healthy
