Loved what I saw from both Spiller and Rumph tonight! Bolt Up!!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
I haven’t got to see the full game so I don’t know about spiller. I did like what i saw from Kelly he still has problems with falling down on his own not sure what that’s all about. I agree Rumph looks better seems to be playing a little more confident.

I think the Chargers have a shot at the Ginger Bowl this year. Not the Super Bowl yet but I can see us winning the Ginger Bowl.

Great game the CBs need to do better turn your head.
Nothin that can’t be coached up, but I was very impressed by Spiller and Michael Bandy, even Joshua Kelley is looking good.
Thinking back on it, everybody was in the right spot most of the time which is impressive, but they definitely looked overwhelmed, and I get it. It’s the NFL and Staley’s defense is complex. It’s their first game for a lot of them. I’m not making excuses because getting your head around is like basic DB stuff but that speed and complexity might be why

I agree. Woods made that nasty int that got called back, but aside from that play he looked pretty overwhelmed. Also 38 was… But they’re young at one of the hardest positions to translate into the NFL, and it’s the first preseason game. They’ll continue to work and develop.

Kelley too. Funny we been messing that solid 2nd RB. And we can potentially have 3 now. I would love if we shift to more of a running team, sure Herbie’s numbers will go down a tad bit, but it would make him better in the long run.

Defensive coverage is pretty poor. Bolts defense need to start turning around and have more awareness locating the football. Penalty hurts!
Itll be way better with JC and Derwin in coverage.
Chris rumph impressed . Spiller has star written all over him. Also Bandy is nice af. Hopefully he can earn a roster spot
I’m really hoping bandy is our WR4, just imagin our offense with Keenan Mike Josh and Bandy
@al3x.619 the hard part is we don’t have a speed threat . And all of our deep passes came from either Mike or Jalen Guyton. It would be a disservice to Herbert to not give Herbert 2 options deep. Deandre carter has been a monster in camp. So I’m really not sure what to do. I’ll probably feel disappointed to whoever gets cut.
We should be able to keep 6 WRs most teams do.

Found the back up to Ekeler and it’s Spiller.
The glimpses I saw from Joshua Kelley & Isiah spiller got me real excited about our running back group this year. Seems like Kelley is taking it real serious from the hype he’s been getting in camp to the little he showcased in 1st preseason game.

By the looks of the first game Chargers are going to have some tough decisions to make. I think if I had to choose between Michael Bandy and Joe Reed, it’s easily Bandy. Reed did put up some nice numbers, but it was mostly on Blown coverages. As for Bandy he was running great routes and creating separation. OL looked ok. Joshua Kelley and Isaiah Spiller looked great. Defensively it was not as impressive. I was very disappointed what I saw from Deane Leonard. And still had a bit of trouble stopping the run but I’m not going to freak I understand that it was a majority of the backups. And the play calling was very vanilla obviously because it was preseason.
Bandy looked good but he is the reason for the last interception. That’s didn’t look too good
@Jb 3x its was a 50/50 and the lamb was in better position to come away with it

LFG!!! i liked what i seen from our bolts last night! some minor clean ups with penalty’s and this new number 33 guy is sus but overall we Gunna look dangerous this year
