It always feel good when you see chargers fans happy even on a losing season..
Last night was Herbert’s “coming out party”. People have already seen that he has a lot of talent and is a smart guy….they’ve already seen that he can play. Last night showed that is who he IS and not who he CAN BE. That is with no real preseason, scrimmage skipped for political reasons, and backup snaps in practice until the day he started. That is throwing to rookies and undrafted guys while Mike and Keenan are sidelined. That is while breaking/tying rookie records in a (for him) short season. That is while giving this team two game winning drives in a row in a year where so many of our losses have been close. Justin Herbert has been showing US all season….last night he showed the world.
Also…THANK YOU for giving props to Hunter Henry. The guy is a stud and hasnt been used to his full potential this season. We got to see a great example Thursday night of what can happen when Justin and Hunter work together. We’ve seen it SO MUCH in the past with Brees/Rivers and Gates that it should be fundamental to us all, but having a (young) QB with a shaky O line….it is nice to see “check down” options like Hunter Henry and Austin Ekeler on your team. Keep BOTH of those guys, give them props, and watch them help young Justin succeed.
This was one of our playoff games. The faders are done. The Broncos have their bags packed like they have a shot. We’re going to help them unpack their playoff bags. Then we get another shot at the chefs. We got them this time. 3 game divisional winning streak heading into next season will feel good.

Using Austin in the short passing game kept getting 7+ years per catch. ⚡️’s I’m in Eugene and it was Bonkers. Especially at my place Boo Yaw!!!
