Agreed. Our secondary needs a corner bad. And Pittman needs a complimentary piece to take some pressure off of him. Hard to do anything when you are triple teamed in every game since the 49ers game. I would say pass rush too, but with Dayo starting to get some reps I think he and Paye will start to get sacks here very soon.
Wentz was on Fire. He wasn’t forced to pass 54 times. Made a huge difference!!

If not for the garbage Indy defense, Indy would have about 4 or 5 more wins easily
That’s actually not really the issue for 2 reasons…
1.) The safeties were both in when they lost to the Rams and Seahawks right?? They gave up 27 and 28 respectively. And then when they went down, they actually didn’t see a decline in performance vs Baltimore until late in the game, Tennessee both times until late in the game, NYJ until late in the game, Miami, Houston, and San Francisco…That tells me that the defense is still damn solid even with the starting safeties out and the issue is with letting up late in some of those games. They either think they don’t need to play as hard because they have it in the bag, or the DC calling the plays is doing a really soft prevent defense that allows the opposing QB to just take what the defense gives him until they are in the endzone drive after drive.
I have been saying that. This team is a few defensive stops away from being like 7-2.
Cant say their defense is garbage. I’m thinking their playcalling in critical situations or even playing prevent with a big lead and getting comfortable..
@scott campbell The Colts will have to run the ball more to take more time off the clock in order to, keep the defense off the field, which in turn, keeps the opposing offense off the field. Colts have to do a better job managing the clock.
@C Truth I must say I agree with you. Thankfully the Colts have a very dangerous RB in JT. (Assuming Reich uses him more that is) also, I just learned that safety Khari Willis should be coming back in the next few weeks which will be a HUGE lift for the secondary.

Wentz played perfect idc what anyone says. Just 8 incompletions and 3 TDs with almost 300 Yards. Yes they played the Jets but it doesnt mean he didnt play a perfect game
