Also, the Eagles best offensive lineman, Lane Johnson, did not play. This game is a microcosm of the difference between the Eagles and the Cowboys organizations in the past 20 years. You Cowboys fans better pray Dak Prescott doesn’t have a big injury this season because as of right now, his ability to stay healthy is his only advantage he has over Carson Wentz. But one big injury and he has absolutely nothing on Wentz. Here’s another reminder: Dak is 6-8 without Elliot or Cooper, proving he can’t carry a team when needed to, as Carson Wentz proved he can.
