Palmer played his best game of the season last week when he threw for 419 yards with two touchdowns and, for the first time all year, no interceptions. He’ll be looking to build off that success here in Week 12 when he faces a Colts defense that ranks 20th in the league against the pass.
The Colts are giving up an average of just 239 passing yards per game, but they’ve given up 14 passing touchdowns this season and opposing quarterbacks have a 90.2 passer rating against them. Palmer is finally working well with his full arsenal of receivers and a strong pass catching tight end to help counter the fact that the ground game is minimal and doesn’t often support him. He may not reach the 400-yard mark again, but so long as he keeps the mistakes to a minimum again, he should post a relatively strong day.
