I’m surprised so many of the experts have gone with the Falcons. It looks a pretty good matchup for the Panthers personnel wise. But Ben McAdoo is the worst offensive coordinator in the NFL, so …. well, I’ve already managed to talk myself out of a Panthers win.

If the panthers win maybe we will start getting respect

You have what’s been an incompetent offense but is showing life against an abysmal defense and then a pretty good offense against a decent defense. That matchup goes to Carolina imo, though I’m pretty biased. Chuba Hubbard will be playing hurt, if at all and who knows if walker and foreman can do what they did against Tampa again? Going into that game walker had a less than 20 rating.

I’m a Panthers’ fan and I don’t know how to feel. Atlanta always plays us tough. I’m cautiously optimistic that we’ll win Sunday. I think the key is to stop the run and make Mariota beat us. Defensively I’m not really worried. Let’s go Panthers!

Falcons finally favored to win… but we do good when everyone doubts us so

Falcons 24-16 i don’t see Carolina stopping the run in any way, and even though the falcons secondary is very injured i think Oliver and Hall will step up and lock down most of their guys.

If anyone needs this win it’s Carolina I hope they get it they deserve this more than anything with what’s been going on with that team. Keep Pounding Carolina

As a falcons fan I know this is a huge huge game. If we can win here and a buccaneers loss on thursday, we will lead the division, if we lose this game then we could see carolina at the top of the division. Luckily, this game is in the atl and we have been incredible at home so i hope that continues. Patterson should be back next week but not this week, still we should continue to run the ball dominantly but I would like to see more passing play calls. Mariota has to throw the ball and those short completions can definitely make an impact I believe. On defense, I am hoping that terrell is good to go for sunday, we absolutely will need his coverage. The panthers have a pretty decent running game so our run defense needs to continue to manage that, our pass coverage has to be better this game because last week was a complete mess. Putting pressure on walker may be a good idea in some situations to force bad throws. Once again, huge huge game for atlanta we need to be able to get this win here. Like always, i believe in this falcons team.
