Kenny Albert should be doing World Series and Super Bowl games for Fox. He has that voice that can make any great call. Imagine him and John Smoltz doing the World Series instead of the Joe Buck reject.

ATL is now 4-4 and are in first place. Wow and it doesn’t matter win is a win. They hung tough and took advantage of the opportunities that were presented to them in this game. Maybe they can win the division, but time will tell. Congrats on the win ATL 👍.

@Anthony obvious taunting penalties should still be enforced in my opinion, but removing your helmet for celebration shouldn’t be a penalty, especially in the end zone after the play is over. it should only be a penalty if you remove it while arguing with an official or done in an aggressive manner towards another player.
@Anthony we can all debate about the rules, especially when it goes against our team that we root for. The penalties for celebrating really aren’t even called anymore unless it crosses over into taunting or unsportsmanlike conduct. Everyone these days has td celebrations, even as a group vice just an individual.
In regards to removing the helmet on the field, the league sees that as a safety issue. The first time someone gets injured because they removed their helmet in the field of play, even after a play is over, the league will start to get really tough on even more rules. I get it that Moore was stoked, but he knows better. At the end of the day, this penalty didn’t determine the outcome of the game. That lies more on the kicker than Moore.
I laughed, I cried, I caught a cramp in my leg. What more could I want from a Falcon’s game.

This game is the epitome of “don’t celebrate too soon”. Both teams thought they had this game won, but in the end, Carolina blew this one. Shades of the “River City Relay” here, with a miracle play followed by a missed XP, but in this case it’s all on the receiver. All you’ve gotta do is keep your helmet on!!

@Kelvzx I’m not so sure about that. The kick was close enough that it might’ve snuck in from the normal XP distance. And 48 yards is not a gimme for anyone not named Justin Tucker. Either way, it wouldn’t have come to that if Moore kept his helmet on!
