@Vulcan Raven your right about that but he’s still top 3 top 5 coach in the NFL. You can’t let a coach like that go after one bad season. I don’t think he’s lost this locker room but he definitely lost the locker room lead by the Legion of boom. I don’t think they ever got over that super bowl I know I haven’t.
@Wayne B Although im not from Seattle, i think the city will eventually get over SB 49 but i understand why Legion of boom didn’t. Had NE pulled off miraculous goal line stand against Lynch, they’d accept that. But putting the game in Wilson’s hands (who threw 6 INT final 2 postseason games) and an obscure receiver was just bad. Given Caroll’s 70 yrs old & the hawks are entering rebuild, i dont see Caroll as answer.
You make valid point- never fire a successful coach if there is no equally good alternative.

2020- colt mccoy and Giants Upset the seahawks to make them miss the 1 seed

Very nice bounce back game. This is exactly what good teams do. They respond to a blowout loss with a division win. This team is legit. They just need to play a little better at home.

Colt McCoy had a great performance for the Arizona offense and the Cardinals defense shot down Seattle.

@eddy5750 Sad to think he played on the last good Texas team 12 years ago. 35-44 (80%), 328 YDS and 2 TD. I didn’t think he threw that many passes but they just took what the Seahawks gave them. Small short passes down the field – running game lite.

Love the road record, unfortunately we need to tighten up on our home games, especially if we expect to host playoff games at home. Hopefully they tune up after the bye, would love to see them get fired up and win out the rest of the home games.
Idk the Ravens were 14-2 on Lamar’s 2nd season and most of us thought they would make it. Hope for the best and that the team stays healthy
McCoy played like a throwback player…he looked twitchy like those old black and white movies from the 1930’s, but he was making blocks, running the ball, hitting his options, escaping pressure, keeping the team motivated after long drives ended-up being missed field goals…he did about all a backup QB could possibly do to keep the Cardinals ahead and focused. The defense did the rest. All-around great effort by the Cardinals. I really liked all the higher percentage short yardage throws from McCoy. The Cardinals had a good balance of grinding on runs and short pass plays, and it was interesting how quickly McCoy made his decisions. Wilson kept stalling in the pocket and wouldn’t pull the trigger; he seemed indecisive and rusty. Even though some AZ possessions didn’t turn into points, it kept Wilson on the bench waiting, so the Seahawks were never able to build any momentum and get back into the game. The penalties also hurt Seattle on 3rd downs or when we were long.
Colt McCoy is an A1 nickle & dime qb and everyone forgets that
He’s a true vet, hella teams.
WILSON: is like Brady, he’s needs young receivers and tight ends that have agility to fake one way and get open as the design of the play indicates. He needs blocking from his front line for at least 3 seconds to complete the play. it’s not his fault that the current team players are worn out.
@W nelson Russ has one of the best wide receiver tandems in the league lol what do you mean. Gerald Everett is a very talented tight end. Aside from Duane Brown, there isn’t anyone on our offense that is “old” or “worn down”. Sounds like you haven’t watched much, Our offensive line and running backs are the weaknesses , not WR and TE

I’m so happy the Cardinals got Conner this off season. Dudes been nothing but a work horse for us this year. Glad to see Moore getting alot more touches this game. Good game Seahawks now time to for the Bye week and for the rest of our team to get healthy.

@Lionel Sanches I agree. RBs decline in performance and health every season the more you use em. Arizona had David Johnson and he was awesome but now he’s not playing like his rookie self. Pay your QB and draft a RB after Conner’s contract ends or negotiate.

@Lionel Sanches I’d rather go for Kirk than Green just from targets and age. We still have a lot of football left and we’ll see if this is finally AZ’s year to get a ring which could change how they structure their contracts.
If the Cards can beat the Green Bay and Buccs, they would probably go to the SB, likely winning it too. The problem is while Green Bay often struggle deeper in the playoff, Brady’s teams always plays little better come playoff time, it’s going to be tough for the Cards since their QB is still inexperience in the playoff, a Bill Parcells-like defence can make a good QB have a bad day. In which case, the Cards will need their defence and ground game to cover him. So far, without their star QB, they have been doing a terrific job except for last week.
if the Vikings keep playing like they did over their win in Green Bay they won’t face GB.
Don’t count out the cowboys either we will see when they play later in the season
