He seems like a great player, and Keim and Kingsbury certainly loved this guy, but TE wasnt a top need of ours. We already had two really good ones in Ertz and Williams, meanwhile our CB group is in shambles and our OL is still lacking

    Hopefully in the 4th round we can trade up for Tariq Woolen or Coby Bryant. A good thing about McBride is his blocking. On Brett Kollmann’s Stream on Bootleg Football he mentioned how due to how creative Kingsbury is with making plays for the run game, McBride could be used in a variety of ways blocking wise and while at Colorado State, he was really effective in blocking for counter runs. Add in our 2 Edge Players that we drafted in the 3rd who look really promising especially with Cameron Thomas being able to learn from JJ Watt.

    The CB group is far from in shambles Gladney is basically a first round pick. Wilson looked good at times as a rookie and Murph is an nfl calibre starter. Relax

People who hate this pick are the same people who hate on everything we do in the draft. Ertz is getting up there in age, and max is more of a blocking TE, this kid can do both incredibly well. People may not like it, but once the season starts everybody will “love him from day one”

With all the WRs we have, we can run all sorts of formations and match ups. But now with this kid, I’d like to see a bit for of power football and 3TE sets along with Ertz and Max Williams. We have everything you could ask for on offense now to feature one gameplan this week and a whole different game plan next week. I love this pick. I can see him developing into one of the top TEs in the league.
