@Keton Brady was 24/8 with 4K yards and 61% completion percentage last year with the same bums. If cam can’t stop turning over the ball and can’t move the offense, then he will lose his starting job in the next 3 weeks. If BB feels like the season is lost, they will move on and play stidham to 100% know if he is an option going forward.
If that happens, Cams career is over.

Bill has GOT to help this dude out. I always come back to these post game interviews and it’s crushing to see how much passion he has for this game. Seeing him this disappointed hurts tbh. Not only is he playing to win, but he’s playing for his job and to secure his future, but this current receiving core is giving him zero room for mistakes, and is making him second guess his team on top of himself for his own mistakes. Everyone here can improve, they just gotta get it done.

Coming from a Carolina fan and a Cam fan… Lemme say I was thrilled when we cut dude. For this reason. He has tendencies. Bouncing the short pass. Throwing high on medium passes. We didn’t do a ton of long range passes. We’ve seen it time and again. Some games he’s 100%. The problem is his mechanics. It’s always been an issue with him. I like the guy and he did one hell of a job for us in Carolina, but these tendencies are always a part of his game and you never know when they are gonna lose the game for you

I think that I figured out the problem. Frank Schwab, of Yahoo Sports, wrote a wonderful love letter of an article to Cam a few weeks ago. It described Cam’s fun side and how he easily jokes around with his teammates to the point that he fell off the bench, laughing, during a game. That’s nice.
I don’t think a first down requires a “dab”, a “Superman”, or a “Usain Bolt”. I think everyone will agree that Cam Newton is a better natural athlete than Tom Brady. No one is more focused than Brady. Cam cares more about his ego and his image. If he put as much effort into his game prep as he does into picking out his outfits for his post-game press conferences things might turn around for him and the Patriots. Tom Brady never “dressed” for a press conference. Tom Brady spent his time studying the plays and watching game film.
The problem with cam is he’s never been checked by a coach Rivera was too scared to bench him because he had nobody so cam literally ran the panthers he could do no wrong now he’s in a situation where he’s realizing his days as a starter are numbered and he might just be a back up at this point and he doesn’t know how to cope with that I expect him to have a bounce back game but he will regress and will do this all over again
