Trev Mac simple as this. Without cam, the panthers don’t even go 5-11 that year they made it to the super bowl. Look at the starting offense that year. Stop finding a million reasons to hate. That team was garbage and it showed in the Super Bowl against an elite defense. Fumble or not, in my opinion they weren’t winning that game.

@Annie Benavente I think he’s the odd man out in this offense so far. That and the Pats depth at RB was stretched very thin this week with no James White either, who also is a great option to catch Cam’s quick passes. I’m curious if Damien Harris who was looking good in training camp could be the answer for this season. But he is currently sidelined with a hand injury so no word when he comes back.

@Dave Wolf The fact the Pats O-line is helping protect Cam better (as you have seen in the highlights and more so in the games) in comparison to his Carolina years is a good sign. Plus much of his own run options are designed when there is an opening and not one he is forcing. Also so far Cam has had as much help with the Pats now than the 2018 receiver corps he worked with along with a better coaching staff to boot. He was making Edelman looking like a star every time he got a clear opening with him. But it also pains me to see that Edelman is getting all the pressure and that other talent like N’Keal Harry has to step up bigger in the near future.

Gracialon Ignasiver Cam has a history of getting injured and has played cupcake defenses so far. The Dolphins and week 2 Seahawks defense were awful and he still took some big hits.

I’m just looking at it like this… he’s going to play much better and harder hitting defenses. It would be great if he didn’t have to run so much. He threw all over a depleted Seahawks defense that had AWFUL pass rush and a terrible secondary. I don’t think he can pass like this consistently.

Some Guy Again, I hope Cam does stay healthy. My concern lies with him playing very bad defenses so far. As the season progresses he’lol play better defenses and take more shots as he’s guaranteed to run more.
