Freudian slip “we have to find a reason (meant to say ‘way’) to get better” shows a glimpse into what and how the players think of Dennis Allen. They don’t appear to have a sense of purpose, or drive, or passion, like they used to. They are lost at sea without a compass and it’s because Dennis Allen has the deer in the headlights look when they look to him to be their leader. He’s too worried about the wrong things on game day. Time to go back to fundamentals: tackling, not turning the ball over, smart football.

I blame the New Orleans Sports Press. They made these guys think they were a super bowl contender.They ran stories about a defensive dynasty and the best wide receivers in the league. I love Cam so much, I wish the Saints would do him a favor and open up a trade & let him finish his career on a CONTENDER. The Saints are going no place. He’s poured his heart and soul into the team for over a DECADE & at a high level. Not to mention he’s NEVER injured. Sucks for him to be a part of such a bad football team at this stage of his career.
