Byron Leftwich on Rob Gronkowski & Tom Brady Learning Bucs Offense | Press Conference – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE

You doing a much better job than early in the season. But I think need to make sure that we get on tight ends involved early in the game. I know risk it no biscuit offense. But I believe when we revolve are tight ends this offense can be the best in the NFL. What we shouldn’t be so worried about Chris Godwin and Mike Evans getting the ball. They’re going to get the ball in offensive system. But if you want to get these guys one on one. Roll the ball to your tight end. This will stop that double teams. That’s what we should do

    Mexican Zeppelin

I never believed for one minute that Bruce was dumb enough to use Brady as just some hired gun, ignoring what he does best. They will get the TEs involved when the matchups call for it. I get the feeling that with Godwin out, that may happen this week. But I don’t sweat that in general. It’s game plan specific, no?

If Arians is smart, he’ll let Brady do exactly what he did in the last Pats-Chargers game in the playoffs, tired out the defense with quick throws.

    Mexican Zeppelin

I think you are dead on. Unless you are doubling Bosa on every passing down, you have to have a game plan that beats him with the quick release. Also, the power running game seemed to be an Achilles Heel for that Chargers team. Don’t know about now, but I like our running game, so …. make them pay the price.

    Chris Maile

@Mexican Zeppelin We should run right at Bosa. It will keep him
from doing what he does best.

    The Red Pearl

Mexican Zeppelin bos might not even play. He was hurt and I think just went to practice.

JENNA TOM TOM TOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mexican Zeppelin

I don’t sweat the penalties at this stage of a strange season. Even during normal years the month of September can be rough for everybody to get on the same page. Good coaching and hard work will win the day in October or November. Patience.

Mexican Zeppelin

Byron, you showed a lot of guts in the playoff game in NE years ago. I was an admirer after that. People don’t understand how hard it is to perform with a high ankle, in the cold, on the road, and against that team. Whatever, now I’m happy to call you a teammate of my boy. You two together are going to make some history at some point.

Johnnie Raulerson

My vote goes to Byron after Arians. I think we could be a great team for a long time.

Exactly. So tired of that same dumb question. If a qb is more worried about the other teams qb than the D they are facing. Wont be long for this league

Johnnie Raulerson

Love to hear the guy talk. So down to earth. Seems very humble.

    Timothy Caruthers

And very intelligent in his profession, being a former NFL quarterback and a decent one at that, you can see the fire in coaches eyes. Byron is locked in this year.

I wish they’d ask about Brate. He’s a big red zone threat. I was hoping for that 3 tight end set near the end zone.

    Mexican Zeppelin

My exact sentiment, where is Cameron Brate? It’s game plan specific so we’ll see him when it provides an advantage in the matchups. We know Gronk will be the blocking TE, and OJ seems to have come along nicely, so it has to be hard to find reps for a third guy. But there can be 3 TE sets, and eventually we will see them.

The carrot and the stick. The tools of every coach.
The stick and 2 carrots. The trademark of every exceptional coach. I see what you’re doing, sir. 👀

BUC DA World

Jenna..i have a question for you. Can you replace yourself for Casey Phillips or Carmen Vitali? Please. GO BUCS!!

    Orange County 714

No, cause then Jenna would be doing streams with Scott Smith.

    BUC DA World

    @Orange County 714 😁right..! Maybe just Carmen

Byron is a huge reason why this team will compete!!! He seems like the only person who truly understands how to work with a 43yr old Tom Brady… Each game this team is getting better and better… we will know more after the next 3 games. They have the Bears in week 5, and the Packers in week 6. I will wait till then before I start talking SB with this team. I will tell you one thing though. I have been hearing Brady is washed up for 10 years now!

    Mexican Zeppelin

If Brady is washed up then the US dollar is real money. People just talk trash. Watch a QB throw the ball, period. Anybody watching Tom’s delivery, foot work and velocity can see it easily, he has a live arm and lots more left in the tank physically. Leadership is off the charts. Work ethic off the charts.

Haters Lie Because It's All They Got

major props for Byron and BA for allowing Brady to play his style of offense.

Top Dawg

Wish this guy all the luck

Like Bart Starr’s Packers, when TB12 Brings them up to the line, he knows he’s looking at 11 HOF’s now

It is OK once in a great while to get a pre-snap defensive penalty because guys are jacked (aggressive). It is almost NEVER a good sign to get offensive line pre-snap penalties. Those are a sign of little discipline and worse – stupidity.
