@rycs16 Not all the starters were on the field with Baker Mayfield. No Christian McCaffery, DJ Moore, Robbie Anderson, and that wasn’t the full starting line up for the O Line.
If Sam wouldn’t freak out after 3 seconds in the pocket he would be fine it’s so stressful watching him. But our O line looked sooooo much better tonight!

He is a one read QB. If his first read isn’t that there he panics and scambles around. That is why he had so many running TDs.

Crazy to see Sam Darnold and Matt Barkley play in preseason as backups considering what everyone thought they were coming out of USC. I would say stop drafting USC qb’s, but I would’ve said the same thing about Oregon before we saw Justin Herbert in the NFL.
Rather have Mariota over Barkley.
