@Russell Neher And? The packers didn’t care about that game at all. They gave minimum effort because they wanted to be healthy for the playoffs. The game ended 30-37 against backups and Love who threw 2 ints. They would have been slaughtered against a serious Packers lineup who actually want to win
@The Notorious true but the Lions could have got number one pick if they lost I don’t think they were really going hard to the paint. Either way that would be weak on both teams if you’re in youre in you should be going hard all the time.
@Russell Neher you do realize players in a team with a garbage record are at risk of getting cut? at that point they don’t even care about what you just said, they are just trying to stay employed(including coaches). Players are told “this is your last chance to build your resume for the next season, so you might as well give it all you got.” That’s what the Jaguars were told during their meeting, and most likely what the Lions were told as well since they put their entire starting roster out there.
And clearly Packers wasn’t going hard if they benched their starters. Aaron Jones didn’t even play a single snap. They could have put Aaron Rodgers and the other starters out there for the final drive to win the game, but they still chose to send Love and the backups out there.

@Van Jones it’s good to mix it up, but Brady seems to prefer white jerseys in the postseason and I remember Super Bowls with the Patriots as the designated home team, and they’d still wear white. If it works, it works.

This may not make sense to many but I am a New England fan and Bucs fan. After all the amazing times in my life Tom Brady and Gronk have given me. I root for them just as hard as the Pat’s. I’ve actually come to be a fan of other players on the Bucs watching them. I’ll be a fan even after Brady retires in 4 years. The pats #1 and Bucs 1a. I got an AFC and NFC team to pull for. That’s pretty cool.
