Pats fan. I truly wish Brady all the best. I will root for him (unless he plays the Pats in the SB). I’m 67 and I’ve never seen a better QB. Give him time. Plus the Saints are a very good team. Don’t panic.

The game was a lot closer and I am not as pessimistic. Both team were pretty much equal apart from turnovers. Both did not run the ball well, both did not pass the ball well, both committed big penalties that extended drives and resulted in scores. It was basically down to the 3 turnovers. The rest was pretty equal. But I take Tom´s good deep balls vs. Brees who looked really tired and off, even on short passes. Defense seem to have an edge early in the season, more so without training camp and preseason. So this will get sorted out. We have too much talent. Tom looked really god apart from the INT and the pressure he faced.
May have been the best thing that could have happened to us. Probably the hardest game after playing KC, and the earlier you get the wake up call, the better.
Would have been nice to have heard him say he spoke too soon on if that 1st interception was on Tom. It’s a bit deflating to hear your coach throw you under the bus in front of the media without looking at the tape first, esp someone like Tom. Need to show him more respect Bruce.
On tape. He just needs to talk to Mike, Tom and maybe Byron to know who it was.
Yes, Mr PIP, that’s for fkn sure! Bowlchamps37, sure, BA can talk to them, but he should review the tape himself before ever criticizing or saying that about the GOAT!
Donovan Smith didn’t have that good a game!!!Don’s technique his footwork is patchy, needs to be stronger in his legs.
Smith looked like he mentally and spiritually checked out for the season. He’s gone next year. Thank Goodness we didn’t give him more guaranteed money.
🗣️Welllllll I told you my about my concerns for the Bucs. Those concerns showed up even with Brady playing QB. I’ve spoken on these areas over and over again continuously for the last 3 years. Soooooo are you listening now?

There was a lot to be critical of both teams.
A number of glaring issues on Tampa Bay’s side – the Bucs were not prepared to field punts, period (or kickoffs as it turned out)- five fair caught, last one returned for zero yds. A minimum of a two TD disadvantage right there with the fumbled onsides kick turnover included. Between Mickens, Miller and Watson only Mickens was used. Also somebody was responsible for coaching ST up and insuring good player communications during those plays. Didn’t see any.
2. Was surprised how unprepared Brady was in the huddle – took a lot of time calling the plays off his wrist. At times he looked either flustered or baffled – don’t remember him knowing a single play by rote yesterday. This also negated one of the biggest advantages Tom had mastered in NE – the no huddle offense.
3. Brady’s had months to learn the playbook. Between Tom, BA & Byron Leftwich they should have had at least a dozen or more after-practice brainstorming sessions and seventy plus plays down pat regarding what to call for the very first game on the schedule. It will be tough catching up now on a week-to-week basis.
I was very impressed with Tampa’s defense. They had their moments but recovered and put them back in the game. All is not lost yet. The defense alone easily could help win half the games on the schedule. Come on guys.
Can’t run the BALL EVERY 1ST DOWN, NEED MORE CREATIVITY, ALSO TOM NEEDS TO WORK ON HIS TEMPO , CAN’T RUSH IT !!! WEATHER IT’S HURRY UP OR SLOWING IT DOWN, NEEDS TO GEEL IT AND IT WILL COME !!!!
Yeah, why were they running the ball on 2 and 10? And, so many run plays. It would be better for TB12 to make short quick plays, like he did in NE, every year. Also, I got extremely nervous when Tom ran the ball up the middle. I hope Tom never does that again at TB, not worth the risk. I’m not referring to the TD, but when he ran it up the middle one time later in the game. He’s already hit enough already because the O-line not protecting Tom well.

Ro Jones, and Fournette are great runners but they need some decent blocking by the o line. Better work on that so you rely more on their legs and not so much on Brady’s arm.
If Winston wasn’t the problem and it’s mainly our offensive line and our receiver’s abilities to run routes. We literally gave the saints their Steve Young.

Brady looked good, he had one bad throw, that was the out route, that was there, was just a bad ball. Brady needs to not press, and we need to get a run game going. Brady wont throw 2 int every game, I wouldnt be surprised if he went the next 5 games with no int..but he isnt Jamies, and isnt going to throw for 350 yards a game, so we need to run the ball…and donovan smith is a liability, cant run block or pass block. Winston really did an incredible job when you look back, he would be the greatest qb in the game if he can fix his tendancy to throw pics
