Well its a good thing they have a lot of depth but losing OJ hurts idk if Gronk can last a whole season at this point in his career. If Gronk stays healthy though he will only get better .

I love how everybody gave up on Brady He had no offensive line he had no Receivers and they trade him away It looks like Brady was right All we ask for was a few weapons and they wouldn’t even give it to him looks like bellicheks the one with egg on his face

Defense won’t always shutdown opponents but you can’t give up that many splash plays and expect to win. Got to bring it next game
That kid Herbert is different. I feel like the D just wasn’t expecting a rookie to be so fearless. On 2 of his deep ball TDs, they hit him right in the chest and he still delivered. I still have high hopes in this defense. This was just one of those games.

Losing Howard is devastating. He was our best tight end.
Agreed, huge loss, BUT, as another response mentioned, we have Brate and Gronk that could be TE1 on multiple teams AND Auclair saw some PT today and, in my humble opinion, looked good with the rest of the O-line. Lots of depth there.

You are 💯 correct. Thanks for pointing it out. People are crazy to think he’s just simply replaced. Brate runs a 4.8/40 OJ runs 4.5. He is ABSOLUTELY much more explosive than either of the other two TEs. Proof is in the pudding on the plays he’s made already. Just today Howard had 3+ yrds separation on K. White . That was a TE with a big play TD n looking like a WR doing so. Same guy OJ beat ,Gronk had all over him n had to rip the ball out for his only catch.
Not to mention Howard’s blocking compared to Brate.
Now if you say they have other ways to score , I get it but don’t discredit OJs dual skill set.
Cam is the best tight end on our squad, always has been, idc if oj was is faster, what does that matter if he keeps on dropping everything. he has no hands and so clumsy. Lets go cam we’ve missed u !!

Bill Nye the CB was sitting on the route and had eyes on Brady the whole time. Brady shouldn’t have thrown it.
On top of that, Watson didn’t turn his eyes to the ball immediately after his break which would have helped him contest the pick. It was almost like he wasn’t expecting to get the ball.
