Donovan smith will get Brady killed
He’s actually garbage. U could even see Brady’s face after one of the sacks, after he looked up and saw Smith was the cause of the sack
Mohan Suri Yea but the problem that people don’t realize is , There’s really nothing you can do about it at his part in the season. People could say yeah take him out but the back up might be 20 times worse and believe me it can get much much worse. Good coaches game plan around it, if he’s a weak link you have to get him help, That’s the problem with Arians it’s like he just doesn’t do anything to adjust and just lets it happen over and over again
@Mohan Suri I noticed that as well. We need a LT that doesn’t take plays off and wants to be elite so they work hard. Smith has all the talent but not the heart or desire to put in the work to be great. Time to move on from him.

Arians has my respect, not that he needs it. Just refreshing to hear a coach say the buck stops with me. Even though that is not entirely true just as it is not Brady’s fault they lost last night. Conversely every game he wins is not due to Brady alone. It is a team, and the best team wins. Not the team with the most talent, etc.
Best team didn’t win last night! Refs blew the game for us. We would have been in a much easier position to march down for a short fg without that bullish roughing the passer on Barrett. That totally put up behind the 8 ball with a much longer field.
Brandon Stephens Roughing the passer call had nothing to do with the field position it gave the Bears a first down on third and long and gave them a shorter field to work with
@Pat If not for that call Bucs get the ball back, Bears do not score, but chances are the Bucs do.
Kimberly Peacock I know it kept the Drive alive for the Bears it was a horrible call , just like the bogus pass interference but Not going to blame the refs they had many penalties that they did deserve.
Both sides of the ball need to be held accountable for the penalties.

Bill Belichick said that most games are lost more than they are won, implying that games most often than not comes down to one team shots themselves in the foot more than the other team. Bucs lost that game more than Bears won it. Penalties got to stop, I get Brady’s frustration on the sideline. All rhythm on offence gets disrupted.
This was the first game where I recognized the lack of coaching compared to the Patriots. It’s not that the coaches aren’t good enough, it’s that they have to reprogram so many minds, and change the entire culture. Five Bradys won’t overcome that on the field, but he will contribute to resetting the culture.

Injuries will make Tampa the “what could’ve been” team of 2020… not even Tom Brady can overcome this many injuries, on top of an undisciplined organization….
It’s a little early to say that yet, I admit it’s not looking great for them right now but let’s keep the perspective that there’s still 11 games left to play. I wouldn’t count Brady out just yet and Godwin will be back plus Evans has been playing injured.
We should be down only two players for our next game, OJ and Vea. Vea’s loss will likely result in a big hit to the D, it will like hurt pass rush and run stuffing. OJ’s loss isn’t nearly as big of deal, he drops too many balls to be the threat he looks like on paper.
If we don’t rise to the challenge we were never contenders to begin with. If we do it’s still a long short that we get a full season thanks to Covid-19.
I’m not worried about the injuries nearly as much as I’m worried about the lack of discipline and the apparent lack of competence.
