Last week was a great win. But Smith still worries me. The few hits the line did give up were once again on Smith. One that could have been a disaster with the Packers defenders entire hand in Brady’s face mask that poked his eye that is no joke. He got pushed right back into Brady. I think it was Preston Smith that owned him that time. Another one besides that stalled a drive. Where he pushed right back into Brady again. He gives up too much ground backwards before making contact with with the pass rusher. He also had a false start that was missed in the first half. Announcers caught it though. Sucks nit picking after a big win but this man can seriously derail our season.
Donovan has been playing below average since week 1.
@TBthrOG I’ve been saying the same thing about Smith. I’ve always wondered why he backs up so much before he engages his man? I think he’ll be gone after this season he’s over paid for what he actually brings to the team.
@usaid1234 It can cost us in high scoring shoot outs. Smith alone derails 2 to 3 drives every single game. They either need to keep a back to chip the end every time to help him out or have a tight end do it. Every time.

I think if Tampa bay is able to trade for a pick in the draft next year and get an early pick they should grab Sewell to replace Donovan smith

This is that time of the year where you start seeing who teams really are… The first couple of games really did not tell us anything. Bucs are really going to show the NFL who they are this weekend. If they beat the Raiders they are legit. Also, if Pats lose I don’t see how they make the playoffs. The rest of their schedule is extremely difficult!!!
