Special teams are never the fun ones to draft but helps you win games. Remember that shanked punt in the SB for the chiefs?
No reason to draft those until the 6th round.
Bryce Peters I would take a kicker in the 2nd round if my starters are pretty much already in place. Kickers are important game changers. The bucs finally got a good one, and won the super bowl again. Oh yea and Tom Brady.

Jonathan Meza yea that was horrible. We finally have a good kicker though. There’s been a few first round kickers.
@Jonathan Meza Aguayo was Drafted in the 2nd Round. Gruden Drafted Janikowski in the 1st Round when he Coached the Raiders the 1st time.

People thought Tom Brady wasn’t worth drafting too. So he fell to the 6th round. Brady turned out to be the goat. How soon do we forget SMH … Now this kid gets to learn how to play with that same chip on his shoulder from Tom Brady.

Trask is going to be great as he has an accurate arm and he can move out of the pocket to extend the play. Great landing spot for this guy. He only runs when he has to (like an Aaron Rodgers) but this guy can move a lot like the Bills Josh Allen on the option play. Don’t know why they resigned Ryan Griffin, but I guess they had to do it if Blaine gets scooped up as a backup somewhere else.

Don’t underestimate how important it is to find a player that overcomes adversity, works hard, and improves. Talent is important, but in my view, values of character are more important. And we won’t see if it’s a good pick until Brady is gone.
Or gets hurt. He might get a couple highlights in the preseason. However, you have a double edge sword in that he gets to learn under the wing if the best, of all time. But to do so, he’ll have to be subservient- which is exactly the opposite personality traits you need in a quarterback…
@Patrick Asplund don’t mistake being willing to sit and learn with subservience. Every great had time to learn before being thrown to the fure
